The on-island stuff was good though. Jacket has totally begun. ![]() The Skate argument was hot, intense, passionate, hurtful...everything you could think of. They will certainly make up though. I'm sure of it. ![]()

| I read the Canadian re-cap. I am not too worried they are just setting things up for the next few episodes. ![]() __________________ Maria icon by Deej | |||

Pointless, out of character (IMO), gross (ewww the sex scene and Bai Ling, that casting choice was a very bad move). The only good thing? I admit it: I enjoyed seeing Jack beaten up. Jack/Juliet scenes = The Skate argument... I need to rewatch the episode to analyze it properly, it's angsty and a good set-up for a reconciliation later in the season, but I didn't like Kate looking down when Sawyer says 'I'm talking about you and me'. The Sawyer/Karl scene is fantastic. Funny, sweet, meaningful, just beautiful. Sawyer is hot hot hot during the argument, OMG. The flashback totally ruins things, and you felt it even more because it comes after Juliet and Desmond's ones, which rocked. I didn't like the episode as a whole. ETA - Welcome evelag! ![]() __________________ "Audiences are a lot smarter than studios give them credit for. They don't want clichés shoved down their throats." (

Sawyer was totally talking about Kate during his speech about "the one" with Karl, asking him if he loves her, and when he says yes, but if he goes back they will kill him, Sawyer replies "at least it will be worth it". And at the end, during the musical montage, you have Sawyer/Kate, Alex/Karl and Jack/Juliet. __________________ "Audiences are a lot smarter than studios give them credit for. | I have been looking at some other sites and this episode looks like it being voted the worst episode of Lost ever. This episode had 12.89 million viewers , which is up at bit from the 12.84 million last week , but still way down. I saw posts saying Valentine's Day really made the number go down last week , that wasn't the case and this episode was promoted by ABC as being one that was going to answer 3 questions and it didn't do that, but it may have had more people tune in to see some of those answers. I also saw a lot of posts from people saying they were through with the show. Heck, even some extreme jaq fans didn't like the episode. ![]() __________________ Maria icon by Deej

I mean, I'm always prepared about the fact that Jack's past stories suck, but this one... it's over the top. The meaning of the tattoos? Ridicolous. Jack and Achara: weird at the beginning, gross in the middle, confusing at the end. The weak points: - Sawyer and Kate acting weird and starting a huge fight from nothing. And everything is about Jack in the end... again. - Sawyer letting Karl go without asking him nothing. - No answers given at all. Yeah, Cindy and the kids are alive, and Jack could be an alien/superhero/god. Veeeeery interesting. - No Losties at the beach at all (people were so happy to see them again in Desmond's episode). They have to find a balance between the Losties and the Others, I've read many viewers starting getting annoyed. What I liked: - the Jack/Juliet stuff (but I'm not a shipper, I can't ship anything if Jack is part of one of the two, lol) - news reasons to mock Jack ("I'm a very likeable guy" ... bwahahahahahahah) - Sawyers' speech to Karl (it kinda made up for not asking the kid a damn thing )__________________ "Audiences are a lot smarter than studios give them credit for. | The episode was bad, bad, bad. Three of the show's biggest secrets revealed? NOTHING was revealed. And Kate was annoying to no end. I never want to see a Jack flashback again. EVER. ![]() __________________ Courtney

And the sad part is, that the coolest thing in Jack's past life is Christian, too bad they had to use him in the 70% of his flashback, so the "daddy issues" have got boring to no end. How many Jack-back did we get so far? Seven? What a waste of screentime. __________________ "Audiences are a lot smarter than studios give them credit for.
