Scant Season Four Details

Spoiler:

- They are looking at a mix of flash backs and flash words, with a larger number of flash forwards.
- The flash forwards tell a linear story, but will be presented in non-linear format from the vantage point of different characters. (This kills the 'only Kate and Jack' got off the island theory.) The big kicker is the Flash Forwards will be shot, according to the source, in Los Angeles.
- Production will begin in mid-August and complete in March.

ABC Press Release - LOST to conclude in 2009-10 television season
Starting with the 2007-08 season, ABC will begin airing the 48 remaining original episodes of the hit drama "Lost," it was announced today by Stephen McPherson, president, ABC Entertainment. The episodes will air uninterrupted over three seasons (16 episodes each season), with the series concluding in 2009-10 with a highly anticipated and shocking finale.

Just want to clarify for some of you. Jack has been drinking but I don't believe he is confused about his father in the comment. I said yada yada yada because I could not remember the lines spoken and did not want to miss quote.

Basically the Chief of surgery is asks How much did you have to drink today Jack? Jack gets annoyed and says "go upstairs and get my father, if I'm drunker than he is you can fire me."

Jack is distraught about something that happened and he desperately wants to go back to the island. He even tells Kate that he has been using the free travel vouchers Oceanic gave them to fly every weekend. He flys to tokyo and back to australia and back in hopes that the plane will crash.

There is a scene where he is in his home and maps of the pacific are laid out everywhere.

Kate says to Jack. "I have to get back he'll start to wonder where I was" She has someone possibly Sawyer. Who knows.

(About the funeral): Jack is upset about something. He even rests his hands on the coffin for a moment.

After Hurley drives Brice he uses the others walkie talkie to alert the Others that they better not mess with us. Then Jack answers teh walkie and Hurley tells them what happened.

Jack ultimately makes the call and someone who responded says they can track there coordinates with the satphone he used.

Meanwhile Penny is having a video transmission with Charlie and tells him she doesn't know anything about a freighter or Naomi. Charlie and Desmond are separated by a flood door with a glass window, Just before charlie dies he writes on his hand that the boat is not penny's.

Juliette will give Jack a kiss on the lips before she heads off with Sawyer.

Later kate is upset that Sawyer said I don't want you to go with me.(In reference to returning for Sayid on the beach.) Jack tells her Sawyer didn't mean it he said that because he wanted you to be safe. Just like I did when I told you not to come back for me.

Kate says why are you defending Sawyer, he wouldn't do it for you. Because I love you.

She looks misty eyed and he walks away.

After Ben is beaten by Jack. Alex comes over by him. Danielle walks over and just stares at Alex.

Alex looks at her and says WHAT!

Ben looks up and says "Alex this is your mother"

I now think that it migh be Sawyer's funeral after all.

These writers love to shock the fans and the fans usually get things right impulsively. Most of them immediately thought of Sawyer. It's only when they start overthinking that crazy theories pop up.

The writers probably want us to think that since Kate is not with Jack, she must be with Sawyer. Wrong.

Jack attends the funeral but Kate doesn't. It can't be Sawyer the audience will think. Wrong again.

Maybe this is what they had in mind when they said they would be in trouble if Josh decided to leave the show. They need him for the end.

Maybe they atill haven't decided who the deceased will be and are keeping the options open.

I think Kate's ''he'' is probably Kevin.

Well, I'll probably change my mind quite a few times during the next 8 months. If I stick around.
For my own sake I hope I'll cool off just a little bit.

Kate: Jin, Bernard, Sayid--they should have caught up to us by now. I wanna go back to make sure they're all right.
Sawyer: Of course you do.
Kate: What's that supposed to mean?
Sawyer: It means, Kate, there's always someone to go back for.
Kate: What's the matter with you?!
Sawyer: Nothing.
Kate: Nothing!
Sawyer: I'm fine.
Kate: Why don't you just tell me what happened?!
[Sawyer stares down at the water, thinking about this and hiding behind his pretty, pretty hair.]

1) Jack says he's not a friend
2) Kate doesn't go to the funeral
3) No one is there, not even Cassidy after he left the money for Clementine (she has to know it was him)
4) He's buried in Los Angeles
5) THEY CAN'T KILL OUR SAWYER!! OR THOSE TWO LOSERS OF THE PRODUCERS BETTER HAVE JACK AND KATE GOING BACK TO CHANGE THE FREAKIN' PAST AND SAVE HIM OR I'LL START DESTROYING EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE I FIND AT THE ABC LIKE I WAS POSSESSED BY BOTH CHUCK NORRIS AND JACK BAUER.

I forgot to tell you that Gregg confirmed in his answer to Lizziefitz that Kate made her physical and emotional choice in ''I Do'' and that she made a commitment to Sawyer but it's not easy for her.

Then he had this weird answer to a Sawyer fan who asked if Sawyer would have a real, adult love interest, not just a sexual thing with Kate who is only using him.

I could try and find the links if you want.
But from now on I say ''Whatever'' to all his answers.

I take back what I said earlier today: this is good angst, like the fireside scene in Born To Run and the missed goodbye in Exodus, even if it won't be at the same level of greatness.
I hope it will play out as cool as it looks in that transcription.

I'm not sure will she see both parts of the finale right away or one part now and the second one later this night.

Juliet kissed Jack in the scene from ABC clip and Kate was watching.

There goes my good mood.
They had to put something idiotic to precede more idiotic ILY scene.
The poster said Kate looked more surprised than jealous but she'll have to see it again.

Also in that scene with Sawyer and Kate talking she say that Juliet was there to see if she's pregnant too and he replies:''Let's hope you're not.''

I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy inside and I don't know exactly why.

It's not because we're getting anything awesome, but when you're prepared for so much worse, the normal D&C quadrangle crazyness doesn't look so dangerous.
