Well, they should blame themselves for the frustration they're feeling and for the "drastic measures" they're going to take. When so many people love a character, it's not a matter of us being dumb or blinded by some minor aspect of their attitude or personality, it's because what they had written for him and the actor worked on screen. If the wanted to make us see him as a selfish, bad conman, they did like 1,000 mistakes: expanding so much the Skate part of the triangle (in which show the "third wheel" is more in love/linked to the other person than the canon "boyfriend"? In none); paint him so in love, give him not just sarcasm, but funny and cute scenes, make him bond with Hurley - the guy everyone loves, make him sacrifice everything to protect someone else in the mini-arc, give him so much self-loathing and pain. I've never written more than the shopping list and I know this. They created the mess, they made us fall in love with him. I repeat: I'm not blind, I have my reasons to love Sawyer because of what I've seen on the show, not in my imagination or in fanfictions.
And if those were tests indeed, the result should tell them it's not a smart move to mess with Sawyer's fanbase. We're a lot of people.
And I'm violent.

It was one of the silliest scenes of the show. It makes you wonder "Why?".

I still don't understand the reason behind some of their choices. For instance: wouldn't it be easy to give a love interest to Sawyer too? If Skate is just their attempt to benefits from a hot couple, when they saw (around S2) that the couple was getting too much support, they could've tried to paire Sawyer with another hot girl. In a show when people come out from the underground, fall from the sky, land on the island by boat, a way to keep Sawyer "distracted" wasn't such an impossible storyline to create. At the same time, while keep Jack's feelings for Kate so hidden/confusing for the audience?

Well, at first I tried to rationalize it. It was the episode after TLC, so Sawyer was in full "I-want-to-be-hated-again" mood, that action was to hide his sensitive side from Hurley. The fact they used a frog for that is the most idiotic/silly idea ever, but at least... When I heard Josh say it was there to make Hurley snap in a later episode, I wanted to bang my head against the wall even more.

1. when you're around, my speculations look almost "optimistic". It's such a rare event for me.

2. you keep me with my feet on solid ground.
3. you keep my violent/angry side trained in case I'll ever get a chance to contact the producers.
4. you don't make me feel like a "bad fan" just because I don't clap my hands and cheer up at any scrap of Skateyness they throw us.

A few months ago I went through his myspace blog entries and couldn't find any spoilers other than the ones we know about. I think he got an account there last year but didn't start posting until March. (I could be wrong about this info. My memory sucks.) I think he's definitely a Lost fan, but from the way he posted I thought he had some scoops before. I couldn't find any. Maybe I didn't look in the right places.
Still, the fact that Dark posts his rumours gives him at least some validity. Maybe he got some connection recently. I think Dark said on Imdb that Major_Spoilers is a fake.

I love Jin and I love Jun, but Sawyer and Sun looks really pretty together. The thought first hit me during the party for the presentation of the S1 DVD, where Josh and Yunjin posed for some photos together. Then it happened again when in S2 Sun went to ask Sawyer for a pregnancy test, and last time it was Exposé.
Also, Sun is a great character, I wouldn't mind more platonic interaction between her and Sawyer.
The Sawyer/Juliet convo is also one of the few things I really enjoyed about the finale last season, so... there are better options than a girl named like a poodle.

I asked you about The ODI because the other day, reading his posts in the Rumors thread on L-F, there was a person defending him saying he has given correct info in the past, and to check the archived topics to get the proof.
So maybe people reported his stuff on L-F before Odi himself started to post, I don't know. Going through the archived posts on L-F isn't a great task, so I asked you before deciding what to do.

Sawyer looked very pretty on both occasions. He almost always looks like he's flirting with women he interacts with, like he's trying too charm them.
I was watching some caps from The Glass Ballerina episode and noticed that Juliet looked really great in her scene with Sawyer, when she decided to hand him the water.

That was season 2 finale spoiler. Ausiello said Sawyer would be dead to Kate, I think. TV Guide had Josh and Evies photo and Josh said Kate wouldn't be happy about The Sana sex. I think they had already filmed those scenes, maybe that's what they talked about in the fireside scene that got cut out. The producers also announced some romance development in the finale but all we got was PB&J kiss.
I don't know why it all ened up the way it did.

I also remember spoilers from both kristin and Ausiello about possible Skate sex around the time of May sweeps. I think it never happened because MR and MF had no chemistry. I think their intention was to have jealous Kate come over to Sawyer after seeing Jack with Ana. (Juliet is Ana's replacement in the trinagle.)
I think they used this "brilliant" storyline in Catch-22 but after the mini-arc it just felt so wrong. It would've made sense in season 2 maybe but after all we've seen in season 3, it was just stupid.

Another storyline they announced in TV Guide for season 2 finale was showdown with the Others and Jack going badass. MF said something about Jack wantin to kick some Others' ass. In season 3 finale he beat Ben.

The Jack vs. Locke scene from this season's finale would've made a lot more sense in season 2 finale.

IMO A lot of season 3 plots were originally planned for the previous season.

I think you're totally spot on, and thanks for the re-cap above. The showdown with the Others was meant to happen in S2 for sure, I will never forget MF talking about Jack and Ana going all "Bonnie and Clyde", plus all those hints about building an army. (

The storyline of Catch-22 would be acceptable in S2.
But of Desperate Housewives.

P.S. I hate the beard as much as I love the stubble, but damn, Josh's is hot.
