Short re-cap of the spoilerish part by Thetailsection.com:
Spoiler:
Jacob has been cast, is somebody that has worked on LOST, but we have not heard them speak and we may never see him speak. He could remain in the shadows. (reinforcing my theory that Jacob is Jack Bender.)
The freighter is not connected to Dharma.
There is still more to learn about Ben's background. Man Behind the Curtain was just a sketch.
The conflict between the hostiles and Dharma will be explored more in season 4.
Emerson believes the 'hostiles' were a separate research group who have assumed the Dharma work.

Scant Season Four Details
Spoiler:
- They are looking at a mix of flash backs and flash words, with a larger number of flash forwards.
- The flash forwards tell a linear story, but will be presented in non-linear format from the vantage point of different characters. (This kills the 'only Kate and Jack' got off the island theory.) The big kicker is the Flash Forwards will be shot, according to the source, in Los Angeles.
- Production will begin in mid-August and complete in March.

Could you check if there is something missing in the opening post? (apart from the link to the post with the beach lines, which I still have to go find)

I seriously think that this going around in circles has to stop. They've spent the whole season after the mini-arc on the triangle without actually saying anything and dealing with it. It was just there, more annoying than ever. The final result is the increased Kate hate, nothing else.
I want it to stop too, more than anything, but how did they end S3? Giving hopes to EVERY shipper group. It doesn't bond well for getting a resolution soon. :/

P.S. Is the ' sign after the 2 in the title the right one? Or the correct sign to write "second" is ^ ?

I haven't even bothered posting Ausiello's "spoilers" in the thread because he said nothing.

June 20, Ask Ausiello
Question: Any Lost scoop yet?— Susan
Ausiello: How 'bout a Lost tip instead: If you haven't already done so, get thee a ticket to next month's San Diego Comic-Con. And quick. At the Promax convention last week, Team Darlton announced that they will be breaking radio silence about the Season 4 finale at the annual geekfest. "At Comic-Con we will for the first time discuss the events of the finale," Carlton Cuse said. To tide us over until then, Cuse offered this ambiguous tease: "Lost is like a mosaic, and there are 48 tiles left to go in the mosaic. And up until this season, you saw the present island, and you saw the past. And now you’ve seen the future. So when all the tiles are in place, the picture of Lost will be complete." (I warned ya it was ambiguous.) Damon Lindelof chimed in, "The fact that people are saying, 'What is the show going to be next year?' is really exciting for us. People are going, 'Are there going to be flashbacks? Flash forwards? Is it going to be [set] off the island? On the island? Where in time will it be?'" Answers are (hopefully) coming at Comic-Con! Speaking of which, are we all gonna meet up at the Corvette Diner this year or what? Onion rings are on me!

Question: Hypothetically, if I were to tell you that I was dying for some scoop on Lost, what would you say?— Ben
Ausiello: I'd say that Carlton Cuse also revealed that, much like Seasons 1-3, Season 4 will have an overarching theme. "The first season was really about landing on the island and realizing they’re not going to be rescued right away, the second season is about the hatch, this season was about the Others, and next season, well, we’ll talk about that later. But it’ll definitely have a theme [with a] beginning, a middle and an end."

Brandi in Taos, New Mexico: What's the latest on Lost? Will Michael come back? Please say yes!
I can tell you that producers definitely have made an offer for Harold Perrineau to return in the new season, which they also did last season (Harold declined because he was working on a pilot). Back then, Harold was offered a truckload of money. Now, sources tell me he wants that same truckload. The question is whether he will receive it—hence, the holdup. I, for one, am happy to empty out my piggy bank and couch cushions and contribute to the H.P. Fund, for I miss him so. Who's with me?!

What can they do?
Stall the pregnancy storyline, continue with Kate faces?

I really feel Sawyer will be (or should be) left out of any possible future triangle/quadrangle mess.

I don't know. On one hand, Jack's ILY cut all the games, IMO. Now Kate can have both men, Jack isn't out of reach anymore. But they could still have Jack starting something with Juliet thinking Kate loves Sawyer, and Kate doesn't do anything to win him back. But at that point we, the audience, will know that the triangle is resolved anyway, no? Once we see who she really wants.
*is confused*

You are really fast in editting and posting.

Back to our usual business.

I just checked the link with the quotes from the episodes and, in my opinion, the two that really qualify are:
Quote:
The Brig

Jack: Why didn't anyone tell me this?

Kate: I already told you, because they don't trust you.
Quote:
The Man Behind The Curtain

Sawyer (to Jack): You really think you're in a position to be asking us questions?

Juliet: You wanna burn me at the stake, here I am.
I think the outcast is definitely Elizabeth Mitchell or Matthew Fox.

EM joined the crew in season three. She worked mostly with MF and ME in the mini-arc except for a few short scenes with JH and EL. She worked with these two actors up until ep 16.
I'll have to think about her interactions with other actors after that episode.

That detective smilie is uber cute. \0/
Too bad FF doesn't allow images in the signature (other than max. 4 smilies from the default ones), it was perfect for yours.

I have the same feeling. Kristin said the line is "very telling", and all the other ones are vague or not really general. Only those two refer to one person judged bad by a whole group.

She has had scenes with Josh, Evi, Naveen, Yunjin and Jorge, if my memory serves me right.

That's fine, I don't bother with signtures. I have no idea what I would put in it.

I have to admit that Juliet's line sounds more suspicious than the one directed to Jack.

But she still worked with MF most of the time.
So she's filmed 7 episodes with the rest of the crew.
I guess it's possible that she had a huge fall-out with most of them but it still seems like she didn't really have enough time to even meet all of them, let alone have arguments with them.
Still, it's possible that she was maybe demanding or unpleasent on set, although there weren't any reports about it. That could be the cause of the feud.
Or maybe some thought she was getting too much screen-time and importance in the storyline.

The last report I remember about MF and the rest of the crew was that TV Guide article. They were on the set on Valentine's Day and said that other actors were happy to see him after such a long time. They even mentioned him and Josh goofing around, if I remember it right.
Maybe the reportrers saw the reunion scene being filmed and thought it was the actors' reunion?
He also didn't have that many scenes with other actors, except for EM, Josh and Evie. My memory fails me here.
But he did know all the actors from before. Maybe they were jelous of him getting more money and his character being the centre of Lost?

If there was enough time between Valentine's Day and the final days of shooting for MF to fall out with his cast members, then I guess there was enough time for that to happen with EM too.

If Kristin is right and the line used on the show was written as a reaction to real life tensions between the actors, that means the producers were aware of the problem for some time (I don't know when TB and TMBTC were written but probably around the same time).
If the culprit is MF, would they really write the whole FF with him? It kind of guarantees that he'll be around until the end.
Unless the whole FF idea was planned for way earlier (I don't mean from the Pilot, but maybe from the start of season 3 or after the mini-arc).

I usally put a link to a FF poll every month, then I have to add something cuter otherwise it would look like an advertisement, lol.

It depends on what has caused the fight within the cast. If, for istance, MF has asked the producers and ABC for a different, better deal for himself without previously letting everyone know, it would be spot on. If the gossip has something to do with his statement in that famous interview, about how he likes to lie and mess people around (if he was serious there), the line would be very telling too.

The only thing I remember is her talking about her talking and bonding with Evangeline, when they were filming episode 15.

I think we can discard this hypothesis, because if I'm not mistaken the article mentioned him swirling around (I hope I'm using the correct verb here) Yunjin, while in the episode he only hug her.

The money bonus has been in the back of my mind since this gossip came out.

If the fall out is related to the contracts or screentime in S4, then it makes sense that it has happened around the end of the S3 shooting.

I don't believe what I'm going to say one bit, but hey, it's fun to imagine different scenarios, even when they are crazy. Remember when I said that they had written Jack as a suicidal junkie only to make his going back up to the throne of the Hero more sensational and emotional? What if the optimists are right on this one, instead, and that was the first sign of him becoming an "outcast" and alienating his old friends?
As I said, I don't believe this at all, but the thought crossed brifly my mind and I had to post it.

It's an interesting thought, but I still have trouble seriously considering it, even only for a short time.
I don't know. The producers seem to love both Jack's character and MF, which doesn't have to mean anything in this case.

If Odi really has a source who is correct about this cast member wanting off the show, I have hard time believing it's MF.

If I check EM's stuff, do you volunteer to watch MF's interviews?

Do you know something about the movies he has shot/is working on? How big they are, the other actors in the cast, the directors?

Forgot to reply to this before:

EM was a guest only on The View?
MF was on Jimmy Kimmel show and some other I think.

Exactly. I think the fall out was caused by something done/said/asked for by the "outcast", not just a reaction to the screentime and good critics given to him/her by producers and critics.

Very generous of you considering your experience yesterday.

You mean something personal?
That was my impression when the gossip came out but we have to check every possible aspect. This is a serious matter.

Not necessarily. What I mean is that I think this person has crossed some line he/she shouldn't have. Offended someone, asked a money rise, requested changes in the story to benefit only his position or his character. I don't think it's a matter of jealousy.
