hey guys

Id like to tell ya'll bout my fabulous weekend!!!

You may remember me telling u bout my friend Troy who lives in London whilst @ uni?

Well Saturday, he wanted me to help him take the rest of his stuff from his house back home to his new place in London. So we left home about 4.45 ish, and got to London around 6.30ish. Its only supposed to take an hr, but there was sooo much traffic, especially round the Earls Court area

Anywho, got to his place, and unpacked his stuff (a couple of his housemates were kind enuff to come and give us a hand ^__^)

Once everything was in, Troy started on the dinner – he cooked us a slap up Chicken Curry n Rice, made from scratch!!! It was yummy, but a bit too hot for my liking

At a bout 9/9.30, we decided to go out and catch a film or something. We walked to the cinema (bout 15/20mins) --- it was dark, and I was scared -- He lives in Brixton, which is not exactly a “nice” area of London. But we took an umbrella with us for protection , one of them big ones!! Hehehe

Got to the cinema and decided to watch The Devil Wears Prada, but were told the 10pm showing was sold out, so we got tix for the nxt showing @ 11.20. So what to do with over an hr to kill?! Find a pub nearby and have a coupla drinks of course!! Was quite a lively pub and we witnessed a scuffle between some guy and girl – could have been a lovers tiff I suppose, but the guy ended up getting turfed out by the bouncers heeeeeeeee

We headed back to the cinema bout 10mins b4 the film started. Got some popcorn (yum) and a drink and settled down to the showing.

It was quite a funny film, I think I enjoyed it more than I thought I would heh! It’s not usually my type of film, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Got out of the cinema after 1.30am, then made our way home. We got there safely with no problems, tho we got approached by some guy (he was drunk and scared the crap out of us @ first), but he turned out to be alright lol – slightly crazy maybe, but he did us no harm =)

Got back to his place after 2 and more or less went straight to bed as we were both knackered.

On Sunday, we woke up fairly early as we needed to go get breakfast as T didn’t have anything in the house to cook .

We went to a Whetherspoons pub who do lovely brekkies for cheap ^________^

After that T decided to take me on a long-ass bus journey thru the city!! We eventually ended up in Oxford Circus, found Regent Street and went into Hamley’s Toy Store!!! I’ve not been there since I was a kid, so it was quite exciting ^___^. Was extremely busy however what with Halloween and then xmas round the corner.

Some guy was giving out flyers in the street, me and T got one each and instore you get free “Halloween treats” lols – a set of vampire teeth and a bat that u can hang from a ceiling or summat =D quite cool ^___^

We went to each floor and walked around... I really cant remember it being so big , AND the coolest thing ever, on the 4th floor (I think), there was a HUGE Superman statue hanging from the ceiling and moved round in circles and he had his arms stretched like he was flying awesomeness!!! ... wish I’d taken a picture to show ya’ll ¬___¬

After spending what felt like forever walking around we decided to leave Hamleys (). When we got outside it was tipping it down with rain, like really badly – neither of us had a hooded coat or an umbrella, so of course we got soaked right through (its actually T’s fault we didn’t have a brolly, cos he refused to bring it even tho I mentioned b4 we left the house that it might rain *le sigh*). We eventually got tired of looking like drowned rats so we went to Superdrug and bought a lil umbrella for a fiver. Only bought the 1 cos no need to have 2 when we can share ^_^.

It was reaching 3.30 ish, so we decided to head back to T’s coz I wanted to be on the road b4 it got dark! Lol. However getting back to his house was more difficult than it seems. I was relying on him to know which bus to get on etc as he’s lived in London for over a yr now and should know stuff lol, but instead we went walking down and up different streets until he finally got his bearings and knew which bus would take us home!!!

Got back, and I was soaked I had to change outta my wet clothes b4 driving home!! But the only other clothes I had were my Jammies that I wore to bed , so yea no other choice than to put them on, and drive home in them – lucky for me I didn’t have to make any stops

Before leaving I had one quick cup of tea just to warm me up ^__^

Left London about 5.30pm (in the dark ), there was soooo much traffic again around the Earls Court area. Stop-start-stop-start I hated that! Once past there, it was free flowing!! I ended up home minutes to 8 ¬____¬, when it should only have taken an hr *le sigh*. But I got home safe that’s the main thing =). It was still raining too so that made things scarier!! Lol

I’m feeling so tired right now , I could hardly stay awake at work today lol. Think I’ll get an early night tonite --- HA!! Whats an early night!?!? =\


I shall be seeing T again at the end of Nov when he comes home and we go to see one of my fave bands - lostprophets - at a venue practically right on my doorstop

Nice to see the Jensen discussion is still going on , its now a law that he should mentioned at least 5 times on every page of the OT thread

Kels, nice to see u posting hun yummy avi ^_______^. Sorry to hear ur still not feeling right I too watch OTH btw, it is good, but I've always said that if they ever kill a certain character off, im gonna stop watching
