I really dunno what to think about this Hilary Duff thing being in the movie..
I just hope that this is not one more of those (teen) comedies with TV serie's stars that lead nowhere....
Still, i'm thrilled that we have josh in a new project !!!
but I'm a bit skeptical...
according to josh himself, he learnt from his past mistakes and "the next move is very important, it's like playing chest"... so that might have been very think about.. so, I guess we'll have to trust him on that..

Have to check that film too BTW !

It sounds great, I am excited to see it already!

Chevy Chase & Sean Astin?! I don't mind Hilary Duff.... Winona Ryder irks me though.

Elie, I'm skeptical too, but at the same time I want to be optimistic (at least until I know more about this project) because as you mentioned, Josh himself has said how careful you had to be at this stage in choosing your next move. On the other hand, with Lost's busy schedule is hard to get the perfect chance, at the perfect time.

I must admit that the only thing I've seen Hilary Duff act in, are some bits of "Lizzie McGuire".

I had a girl crush on Winona Ryder when I was about 14, and I had just seen her in "Edward Scissorhands" and (the silly) "Reality Bites".

Yay for Josh's new movie! We were just talking about this a couple days ago.

I hope the jock role isn't too stereotypical. But it's a comedy...so of course it is. I'm just so excited to see Josh in something else!

Sean Astin? SQUEE.

Me too, right now I can't really concentrate on trying to judge this objectively because I know nothing about Mark and Michael Polish and their previous work, and I'm still too happy that Josh is doing... something, besides Lost.

sure Fran, you're right..he has a busy schedule and with this strike, it sure did not help either..

well even with all my "concerns" and "doubts" about this film, i'm still really happy to know that we'll see josh in something real soon, and plus there's sean astin in it...so that is cool...
i'll put all my trust in josh's choice on that..
cannot wait the release to see... and THEN, judge..;

I guess it has been a frustrating year, because the strike ruined the schedule for everyone, and although he had to stay in Hawaii for Lost, the screentime and storylines for his character weren't exactly exciting.

I want to do the same and try to wait to watch it with an open mind.
And this time it looks like we'll get to see this film on the big screen, which is already a progress from Whisper.

It's a HUGE step up from Whisper. I'll be in the cinema the day this one comes out.

Just so you know, I envy you like whoa for living in New York where everything arrives/comes out first.

Do you think we could get a premiere, and Josh attending it, for "Stay Cool"?
I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing, this time.
