Josh on the cover of EW??? Everybody stop talking about it right now because the more we talk about it and hope for it, the more it will hurt when it doesn't happen.

It would be too good to be true for him to land the cover of that mag and would certainly offside the MF/EL one we got a few months ago.

Anyway..... Kinda pointless, but Josh was on TMZ's show today for a second. He was walking in some kind of parking garage with a photog following him asking "Do you have anything to say to the haters" regarding his weight gain. He just smiled with his head down and said once "No comment" before getting into his car and leaving.

Josh on the cover of EW would be grand. The heavens will open up. Angels will sing. Hollowhores around the world will weep for joy, lol.

But I'm not getting my hopes up.

Oh, and those TMZ people better leave Josh alone. They can harass any celebrity they want. Just not Holloway.

Thanks for reporting about that, Jess!

Oh man, I hope Josh won't be in a bad mood about it, he seems pretty self-conscious about himself, and his body if the shirtless scenes comments are anything to go by.
We love all of you Josh, tummy included.

From USA Today:

Who should receive Emmy nominations? Tough call - USATODAY.com

Quote:
With greater Emmy power comes greater responsibility.

As the nominating ballots head out to Television Academy voting members today, all the power is back in their hands. Last year's experiment with blue-ribbon judging panels, who chose five nominees from the voters' lists of 10 finalists, has been scrapped, and the nominations will be chosen entirely by popular vote.

On the plus side — thanks to another rule change — they get to fill six slots in the major series categories instead of five, which should make it easier for a few new nominees to slip in.

On the down side, the voters have a fondness for quixotic choices, ignoring worthy new or small shows in favor of fading hits, or succumbing to the allure of the flashiest ads or the most expensive boxed sets.

What can be done to bring us a better slate when the nominees are announced July 16? If you're a voter, you could just pick up your pencil (or computer) and mark those nominating ballots as instructed below.

Because sometimes when you have power, the best course really is just to hand it over.

And the part about the Drama category, Lost in general:

I haven't even seen many haters. The titles some gossip bloggers used were harsh but the comments not so much. Josh is likeable even with extra weight.

Thanks for posting all that Fran.
It's nice to see Josh's work recognized and praised.

Especially because he's been pretty underrated so far.

I really have no idea what this magazine/Oahu guide is about, but it popped up on eBay today:

The content description says this amont other things:
Quote:
Special interview with Josh Holloway regarding his island favorites and Lost show & personal questions and insights about his life & future acting plans
Maybe it's a rip off from an old interview? I can't remember if Josh ever talked about his favorite things in Hawaii.

Thanks for posting, Fran!

Perhaps it's a mix up of an old interview and something new. I hope!

I don't remember any interview in which he talked about the island so it's probably new.

BTW It looks like Terry hasn't made any submissions for this year's Emmy - Shockeroos on the official Emmy ballot: Past 'Lost' winner Terry O'Quinn is lost! | Gold Derby | Los Angeles Times

Lost episodes submitted for writing are: "The Incident", "The Variable" and "Some Like It Hoth".
For directing: "The Incident" and "319".
For editing: "Some Like It Hoth", "The Life And Death Of Jeremy Bentham" and "The Incident".

I hope someone will get to find a copy of this and check, I don't know if it's an Hawaiian publication or some kind of special issue.
Too bad I don't know anyone in Hawaii, I could only think of bugging Ryan, lol.

Terry doesn't seem the kind of person who would forget to submit his entry or fail to do it in time, so I guess he chose not to. But why?
"The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham" sure would've been taken in high consideration for his and Michael's work.

It looks like he said in an interview that one Emmy/award is enough for playing the same character so maybe he's just doing what he thinks is right.

Thanks, I didn't remember that comment. I hope he's following his own beliefs and not you know, feeling not too hot about his presence in Lost anymore.

Misty I won't rant about this only because it's your hubby-centric episode and I heart Miles.

All of them are a joke. They didn't pimp LaFleur? Just because the precious 2 didn't write that one? Aholes.

Terry really said that? Wow. What a classy man.

They always seem to submit one episode written by Damon/Carlton, one by Horowitz/Kitsis and one by newer writers (last season it was Eggtown for Gregg Nations and this year it's him and Melinda Hsu Taylor).

What was Eggtown submitted for? I think my brain has blocked that memory out for self-prevervation purposes.

I blocked out my memory too but I don't think they submitted that one. Idk. Maybe they did.

Putting in Hoth is a joke, right?
