Even water has some flavor added to it there. J/k

McDonal's, alcohol and cigarettes aren't a great combination. And I say this thinking of Josh's health, not for what that could do to his looks.

Maybe he was just there for his nieces, kids love MacDonald's.

I'm no McDonalds lover, but I will say their breakfast is the shizzle.

And my goodness Java is adorable!

Oh, I've loved McDonalds forever. Until I started watching my sodium. All of their food is ultra high in salt. 1,000mg +. And what does too much salt do? It contributes to high blood pressure. Everybody worries about calories, but salt is the quiet killer.

That's very true. I've recently cut out using salt in my food. High blood pressure runs in my family.

Yeah, I'm inching my way there and not happy about it. My Dr. Feelgood said start cutting out salt, so I started looking up the content in foods and, holy sht, the food industry is killing us. You can't eat 90% of fast food and a majority of restaurant food. Chili's (?) had some lobster dinner with side stuff and it had over 3,000mg of salt in it! I'm told we should have no more than 1,600 to 2,000 per day.

Dannng. So what can people really eat? I swear it's like impossible to know what's good for you and what isn't.

I asked the same question and, unfortunately, the answer was ... home cooked meals. You'll know exactly what goes in it. Not only that but cut out any processed food you might use, which means anything that is packaged. Weeeeee! So basically, we should eat like they did 150 years ago.

That's depressing. I saw my nutrionist last week and she gave me the rundown on calories. I had NO idea one bagel is like eating four slices of bread.

Urgh. I wish I had a nutritionist. Are they expensive?

Hm. I wonder if my insurance would do that. They pay for those gastric bypasses, so why not nutritionists. It would be cheaper.

Le spese di Josh Holloway | Gossip
Quote:
