| Thanks for the new thread ,Fran and this's the Josh interview from the turkish site,i tried to translate it in english.....sorry for my mistakes (fran i know you get angry )i hope it is understandable  LOVE İS LİKE A ROLLER COASTER FOR ME... why were you discovered so late ? because of.... a)luck b)coincidence c)determination d)patience e)i worked so hard,i knew it's gonna happen... all of them...patience is necessary,working is necessary too....but coincidences are important too.there are alot of talented actors...if you cant meet true people on true times,you cant do anything.There are 280,000 actors in Los Angeles,and the percentage of the succesfull ones is 1 %...great competition...luck is necessary too,it is so hard... well you? i think i was at the last period of my patience...i decided to give up and move Hawaii but at that time my LOST experience begin....suddenly...i was ready when they gave this opportunity to me...true project on true time...and true people...normally when you pass cast director ,you go to producers and writers and generally you are eliminated before you see the real guys but i meet jj and Damon Lindelof firstly, thats why i could get that job....they said:that man is okay and it begin.... is that show the turning point of your life? Lost gave me fame around the world but it is not the turning point of my life...when i was 18,i left the school and went to New York....think about the difference between Georgia and New York,that's a great culture shock....i wanted to be a model,drowning in New York is because of my existance here today... was it hard for you? yeah,really it was....i lived in home of a family with 4 sons,that made me feel at home....i have 3 brothers ,too.....but that was the time i learned about living alone... What's good with being a model accept money? Travelling....travelling around the world....learning about new cultures.....feeling of freedom...you are young ,no family,no responsibilty;travelling around the world is great in that way....but for little time...sometimes it doesn't satisfy you....after 10 years it didn't satisfy me,too... because you have to be social and finally it bothers you...and of course you can get older for modelling...i wanted to do a work with my mind and soul....and i decided to be an actor... BTW,you are choosen one of the "50 most beautiful people of world"....congratulation..... Thanks.... do you want to be choosen one of the " 50 smartest people of the world"? check the list,i am also in the smartests' list....if you keep your mind open ,you can always be smart.... What's the importance of the physical beauty for you? i can't say that it is not important totally but people give more importance than they should give....i think the most important thing is what kind of people we are ...and feeding from love or fear.... How? all decides that we make depend on these two feeling.....if the source of what we do is love,we can be happier....that's why the people who love their jobs are more successfull.... Can you talk about your addiction to sports? Am i addicted to adrenalin?i don't know...what i know is that they take this freedom from me....İt is forbidden to do dangerous sports during "LOST" .....at least i love all kind of sport,so i can do any other safe sports....i love adventure,being excited and scared....a little fear is necessary to do your best...but not much....ıt improves your abilities..... What are the best and worst parts of living in Hawaii? the best part is being far from the rest of the world....but it is also the worst part...i lived in los angeles for 9 years then move here and i am happy,because hawaii isn't crowded,air is fresh,sea is clear..but i can work in other projects in Los Angeles. Is love the thing that lasts forever for you? The thing i hope it'll last forever..love is like rollercoasters for me...sometimes it gets slowly ,sometimes faster.....sometimes up,sometimes down but if it is real,it always keeps going...there are different terms....my wife and i feel alot of different sence at the same time...sometimes the passion between increases,sometimes decreases....but the friendship always exists...no doubt,my wife is my best friend.... do you have any doubts about marriage? no...being married is falling in love with same person again and again,at different times...the only thing that you won't do is leaving;but if it is real love,where will you go?doesn't it worth to try?we're trying to protect the love we share....and we have great fun together,i think it is important ,too.. you praise your wife in every interview..... is it a problem?she makes my heart beat madly... sometimes she makes me angry but i'm happy to have her... What's the thing that makes her so indispensable? Everything.....because everything she has exist this woman and make her indispensable...including what i don't like about her... forget about it,tell me what you like about her? she is a passionate woman....she has a great judgement ability,she is self-respecting...maybe it sounds strange but she makes me a better person... there are alot of women who want to have sex with you,is it a problem for you? no,it is not... what kind of feeling is that being a sex object in women's view? i don't know if i am really like that....but if am really like that,it is good in someways but it's bad,too...there is nothing worse than a man feeling himself sexy and using it......thanks God,i am not one of them....i think physical characteristics are not the only things that make a man sexy....his succes and his abilities are important too..when i was a model,i was consisting of my body and it bothers me....it is not problem for me to be wanted,but i prefer being wanted by women.... are you wanted by men? yes,both women and men....but i don't really care about it,....i just laugh ...and there is strong connection between my wife and me,so i cant see anyone else......and i have an interesting theory,generally women respect men who are not interested in themselves and loyal to their wives... you are a sex object so do you always have to be pretty or welldressed ? of course no....i love being in open-air,fishing,riding bicycle and playing basketball...and you can't care about what you wear when you are doing these things....i really don't care about it... You are so handsome,is your wife jealous ? Ask her....but i don't think that she is jealous,i don't see any reason for it....if people admire me,she should be proud of it...and it's same for me....when men like my wife ,i!m proud of it....because i am the man who is with her,her husband.....when people see a real love,they like it and it is same for us..... So they think you are perpect for each other...... there are some people who don't think like that,people who say:"why are they together?"....my wife is so beautiful but her beauty isn't like a model's beauty.....she is a little hot-ball....an Asian hot-ball... What did you learn from women? patience.... How? Men interested in conquering,controlling....decide and do it quickly,who cares about the details?but women decide gradually,they are carefull about the details...they create the life and protect it....i learned being patience and sensitive,being carefull on details from women....instead of conquering,i learned protecting.... what is the thing that affects you in women? owning their femaleness.a woman should be looing like a female,not a male....and also should have ability about physical activities and be compatible in different conditions...for example my wife is so feminen but she can also cook with a camp fire on top of a mountain.once,we ride around Colorado mountain;she huged me and she was screaming but we had great time.... well,What kind of women do you hate? it doesn't matter men or women,i hate proud (in bad way) people...in our job there are a lot of people like that....and i dont like disrespectful people... what was your last cry for? My last cry was for my family,i miss them....only a few tears..... what was your last laugh for? my wife sent me a card on the internet,sounding card....there were the cuttiest squirrels of world on it...each couple have their own language and we have ,too... and those squirrels were saying slangy words that we use,my wife uploaded those...it was so funny... What do you think about Turkey?Did you expect this interest? i didn't know that LOST was so popular in Turkey....and i didn't expect such a modern country...Turkey is the country that i admire its history and İstanbul is a wonderfull city...I lost myself in a dream of İstanbul..... Go Josh!  (BTW, I read in another article about the campaign that Yessica was in San Francisco with him, when they shot the ad. And then the article went on and on about technical notes of the productions (the lamps used on the set, the number of people of the crew, and stuff like that - that's why I didn't report it). Elif, thank you so much for the translation! And yes, I get angry if you apologize again for your English. Josh is adorable when he talks about his wife, and you get an idea of how strong their relationship is.
