The final ratings take out the GA viewers.

I have heard the good/bad argument , but I don't really agree either.

There would be no point in making or airing promos if they don't impact viewers.
Besides, with Lost it's pretty easy to see early on who or what an episode will focus on. This week we immediately got Jack on the island and then Jack/Kate living together in the FF - talk about a turn off.

Frankly, I'm sick of the 06. They're off the island and miserable bitches. We frakking get it. Serves them right for leaving everybody else behind.

I want to know what's going on with Sawyer, Desmond, Juliet, Locke, Claire. I hope to God s5 is their time.

Watching it has its pros - first, if you dislike Jack, it's a nice reminder of all the motivations for doing so the show can give you

, second, when I feel down at the idea of a probable Skate-less season 5, I think about the scenes in this episode and realize can really use a break from that madness romance is.
