They aren't officially a couple, but Lost's Sawyer and Kate generate a ton of heat with their spark-filled love/hate attitudes. This unbeatable romantic tension will have to be addressed sooner or later — the island isn't that big. And after the thieving Kate gave the tortured troublemaker one of the hottest kisses of all time, another may send an S.O.S. to Sawyer's heart.

"I try to analyze the situation as realistically as possible and I can only see Kate and Sawyer growing closer from what's happened. If Sawyer gets back to the island, they should have a new sense of value in each other. They say if you love something, let it go, and then see what happens from there. Sawyer Calls Kate 'Freckles' - 1 Drink
It's self explanatory. Take another sip if he gives one of those cute smirks after he says it.

Kate Breaks Up a Fight Between Sawyer and Someone Else - 2 drinks
Kate tries to break up a fight between Sawyer and someone else and does so while remaining calm, cool, and collected. Half a sip more if it's Sayid.

Sawyer Makes an 'Obscene' Comment and Kate Pretends to be Offended - 1 drink

Well,this morning my friend invited me to his house.We decided to watch a movie "Monster in law",but I decided to take my Lost season 3 dvd...
He accepted,so we started watching...He can analize people by looking their faces,moves,eyes...
And when we came on the ID episode I asked him to say whats his opinion...
After the love making scene,he said that Kate definetly loves Sawyer,that you can see she adores him from a damn plane!! I asked him how come,and he said that you can see it from her eyes,by the way she emotionally takes his words...that every word he says Kate feels,that his pain is her pain,that the way she looks at him is pure love and devotion...He said that her love is unbreakable and real!
On the other side he said that Sawyer seems distant,unsecure,like he is questioning himself...that he does love her a lot,but like this is all new to him(and it is

) and it scares him,but he is ready to face it...and all because of her.When he saw the post-coital scene he said there is no doubt that Kate loves him deeply and honestly,with an unseen strenght!About Sawyer...he said that he looks so vulnerable...and very protective to Kate(cause of the hug).
Then he asked me if Sawyer had a bad childhood

...And I was like Yes!!! He said it has a bit to with it,and when I said what happened to him while he was a child and later in life,he said that it is completely understandable then,and that Kate is his shelter,his love,the only thing that will make him keep on going!!I was so happy and amazed!Finally a neutral person watched the episodes and saw the pure truth! Oh,and about the Jate scene,he said it is totally a Skate scene,that it is obvious that Kate was there only to save Sawyers life!!
And one thing he saw,I never realized before...when Kate said to Sawyer "If you dont want Jack to save your life,you are gonna save your own,cause WE are getting ut of here!" He said that he thinks that the WE part does not involve going for Jack and running with him...

He loves the protective Kate(finds her extremely sexy in that scene

) and said its only something that a woman in love does...

And the cliffhanger was his favourite scene...when Sawyer went to death,dropping that gun,my friend just said "see,here is your proof"

And when Kate said "You get your hands off of him and I will do anything you want" and started crying,he said that her agony is heart breaking,especially when she started crying and yelling "Noooo!".He just added-They are soooooo in loooove!

Abot the "I cant leave without you,Jack" scene his comment was that is completely understandable,that she couldnt have said anything else...! He also thinks that we are going to have some cute hand-holding,maybe hugging in episode 7&8..

I was so happy!!
My friend also thinks that there is no way they are not going to end up together,that they will get in a few fights,but that they will definetely stay together...

I am so happy the whole day cause of his comments!!I think I am gonna buy him a present!

It's always great to hear neutral opinions, and the fact that even people who don't know the show and the characters, can't deny how skatey the episode was in its every scene.

Amen! I've read so many people saying that Sawyer's question and the silence from Kate's part that followed were there to show that she didn't want to leave because of Jack, that she was trying to free Sawyer but she would've stayed to find Jack. As your friend correctly analysed (IMO, of course), her 'WE are getting out of here' was all about her and Sawyer.

Yes,I agree,I cant always be very objective,cause of my Skate obsession so it is really nice when you hear someone neutral,who doesnt give a damn about the ships...

Exactly,very skatey!I was so thrilled when he said that Kate adores Sawyer cause I have always thought that she loves him,but he is more "into" it...because of his actons,but I have changed my perception after the ID...It al finally came out on the surface...

I've always felt the same, about Kate's and Sawyer's involvement into each other: Kate seemed to be holding things back, you could never really tell what was in her mind, while Sawyer's feeling were showed very blatantly, like no matter how much he struggled to keep them inside, he couldn't hide them. 'I Do' filled tha gap, and made us watch a Kate willing to do pretty much everything for him, a woman who finally surrendered to her heart and admitted to herself what she wanted, when the fear to lose it become too much of a reality to keep her detached mask on.

Yep, it was pretty much the same that in EMFH: when she tried to break him free the first time, she wanted to run away with him, she didn't mention going to find Jack or her worry for him at all.

Exactly,she always seemed like she was holding things back,and Sawyer just couldn't.She took his heart.He indeed did struggle..."You run,I con,Tiger doesn't change his stripes..."In all of his struggles you could see love in his eyes,he was always taking care of her...

I love the scene when they are hunting the boar,and they get into a fight,and she decides to go...But she stayed near him,and he knew it...He called fo here,and she was there...

ID definetely filled a gap,and showed us the real Kate,the one we ave been wanting to see for 2 seasons,Kate who stopped running...
Beautifuly said-a woman who took off her mask.

I love the "morning" scene,although I would have loved to see what they were talking about then...

Right,she was so worried and terryfied everytime she saw Pickett coming!She wanted to save Sawyer,not Jack!There was time to save Jacks life,Sawyer was so close to death too many times,right infront of her eyes!
I love the post coital scene,when he askes her if she really meant what she said,even though in the EMFH she said no.He knew she was lying,and had to ask her again...
