You'll be fine.
Maybe... but who's gonna get my back? Come on. Just give
me two weeks, that's all I'm asking. Two weeks.
All right. Two weeks.

You were amazing today.
Thank you for believing in me.

I love you.
I love you too

I'm doing it for her.

Look, I'm sorry. I should've listened to you when you wanted to get on this sub three years ago.
I'm glad you talked me out of it.

Whatever happens, I got your back, remember?
I love you.
I love you back.

Don't you leave me!
I love you.
No, you don't let go!
I love you, James.
Don't let go.
I love you so much.

They fit so well together.

R e v i e w s:

"Sawyer and Juliet 2gether 4ever.
When Sawyer joins Juliet, she is quietly (almost catatonically) considering going to Tahiti, 1974 or not.
But Sawyer complains she's abandoning him to nutsos and silent Jin, and with sheer charm, he Sawyers her into staying.
With their eyebrows, they have virtual sex. "Okay, two weeks," she says. Ha: THREE YEARS LATER. Sawyer's still smiling!
He's picking flowers! He's drinking Dharma Merlot! It's all so damned groovy.
"Thank you for believing in me," Juliet says. And kissing! And "I love you!"
It's like a magical panorama set in the Sunshine Family Van.
"
(Vulture - New York Magazine)

"Sawyer was, for perhaps the first time since we met him, happy. He's a respected member of the community, he has a job that he excels at,
he gets to read books and drink wine, he's back in the cozy confines of New Otherton and, most of all, he's in love with a woman
who reciprocates his feelings.[..] I want Sawyer to stay with Juliet. I really want the dude to be happy.
"
(Buddy TV)

"We learn quite a bit about two of our characters. Juliet and Sawyer walk away from this changed. Connected now in the larger scope of the show.
Whatever happens, this episode permanently pairs them in some sense. And it didn't feel forced, either. I like what it was built upon,
the choices that lead to them connecting.
"
(HitFix)

"Now it seems Juliet -- the one who was willing to stay on the island with him, which is worth noting -- may be his true love."
(Celebritology)

"DJ: Awesome year for Sawyer and it was great to see that transition. What was it like to play that, to see, kind of like, Sawyer step up and be like this great boyfriend and great leader?
JH: Well, at first, it was a little scary, cause I was like, I had gotten comfortable in being a bit of an 'ass', if you will, and just playing that side of the character, I really enjoyed and I was a little nervous of 'oh no, am I going lose the edge of the character by actually having a relationship and trying to be a leader' and all that sort of thing. So, at first, yeah I was a little nervous about it. But I was also excited to do something different because you're on a show, you get into a rhythm of your character and after awhile you want to explore something different. So, they, the writers, enabled me to do that and it turned out fine, I think. And it was alot of fun working with Elizabeth Mitchell and developing that relationship. What we had three scenes to develop it, I think, so we were a little bit like'OMG, how we gonna sell this in three scenes? Like we've been together and we love each other.' At first that was a little daunting and then once we got into it, it seemed really natural and thank goodness I was working with such a professional, she's so good. That was just a lot of fun to explore, as an actor.
DJ: And the season finale, of course, goes and breaks our hearts.
JH: Oh ya.
DJ: What was it like preparing for that moment? Was that tough?
JH: It's funny, those scenes. Yes and no. As life goes on and my life gets more enriched by getting married, having children - I just have a newborn, now - the stakes have risen in my life. So, now it's easier to play a scene, where possibly losing that comes into play. So, that's how I prepared. I have a newborn on the way and I was just thinking, well I had to think, well, what if that was taken away? And, there you go. Roll camera."
(Josh Holloway interviewed by EW)

"Much like her season five ’ship partner Josh Holloway, much of the credit for LOST’s success this year has to go to Elizabeth Mitchell. Always the “Other Woman,” her Juliet was able to shine a bit more this season, making the Juliet-Sawyer relationship the best the show has ever created."

What did you eat in the end? A salad might've been another nice idea.

do you have air conditioning in the house?
Nope, my only salvation in the summer is washing my face as often as I can.
Anyway, it rained yesterday night, finally! The temperature dropped considerably.

no, since that weekend nothing new... but the problem is, I still have to fix that... it's still not fixed, but it's ok to drive... that's what my mechanic said after I told him I don't have any money...
Your car, your computer... just tell them to hang on for a little longer until you can treat them properly. It's so annoying when so many necessary purchases pile up in a short period of time.

Also, you can walk around and perhaps stumble upon Josh when he isn't in Hawaii filming. I would add that to the list of pros.

I was rewatching S1 yesterday and damn, I so wouldn't want Sawyer to go back to his S1 self. You feel for him back then, but he really is a total ass. And to have seen him come all this way, just to regress. What a shame that would be. And as for Juliet, seriously - after we see how great she is, and to have the audience become so attached to her and then plan on tossing her away . . . *shakes head*.
As I've said, I doubt they'll bring Sawyer back to his S1 days. Looking at what they wrote for the character in the finale, no matter how down he may feel now, this time he should do the opposite of what happened when he was 8 - not let despair and anger drive him and ruin him. If anything, my fear is that they'll write him cheerful when it isn't really appropriate, like they did at the beginning of S4 (I hope they won't make the same mistake twice, though).
As for Juliet, it's not just what they decided to do, but the how. Considering that even Nikki and Paulo got their centric episode before being killed off, there is absolutely no excuse for what they've written (or better, not written) for her in the second part of the season. And again, if she'll get closure it will be because of fan reaction, not because the writing team finally got the light bulb shining above their heads and realized how unfair it is to end a character arc like that, with all those loose ends.
Quote:
Still I have to say I love this show. They're doing something right, but I think I can say that because my favorite character has been getting better and better. The fact they were going to throw Juliet to the side really made me second guess my faith having a good (or satisfactory) ending for the characters.
I still love the show for Sawyer, and I care for Jin, Sun and a few more characters, but I really believe that if I looked at this show in depth, without my emotional attachment, I could talk about all the wrong moves taken by TPTB for hours, lol.
Quote:
It's just like that theory that a character should be killed off once they redeem themselves. What kind of message does that send to the audience? That once you set things right, your life should be over?
Exactly. You've found a bit of peace with yourself and who you are? You're done with executing whatever part in the story the Island required from you? Well, sayonara then. And if it's true that killing characters also represented a way to show how "serious" and dangerous this journey was, at first, now Lost has turned that into a sort of bad cliché, too, especially when it comes to kill off women.

And just like Sayid may die, or anyway end his journey, as the murderer at heart, the man who tried to run away from that dark side of his nature, but couldn't, another favorite of mine like Juliet might've died fullfilling her "destiny" of "other woman". It bothers me even more because I'm pretty sure that Sawyer's original fate wasn't too different from that as well, so it's like I'm experiencing the same thing a second time, with another character I love.

Anyway, on more cheerful topics - the rewatching was nice, girls! I had a lot of fun, especially with the "off topic", even if I spent another night with no sleep because I couldn't stop picturing Juliet down that hole whenever I closed my eyes. Good thing it's week-end so I can be emo all I want, lol.

Steph, don't think you're off the hook missy - while me and Tracey debated on my dark speculations and she tried to calm me down and make me rethink my decision to chop off the writers' fingers, you sneaked out to watch LaFleur and Stranger In A Strange Land.

I was laughing because you responded to the optimistic part of my description, and then I understood why. I'm not anywhere where Josh Holloway might find himself. It's about an hour's drive to LA, but I don't like going there very often. Very dirty, and a lot of people more concerned about image than what's really important in life. So if I ever come across him, it'll be dumb luck. Let's cross our fingers that he does a movie somewhere near you and you happen to stumble upon him.

I hope so. For him to go back to what he was - that would spell doom for his character I think. Not that I don't think they're all doomed.

I know not ever character will make it out alive this season, and there are so many left that I still like - it's going to suck. Hurley, Kate, Ben, Sayid, Jin, and especially Sawyer - I'm going to cry my eyes out when and if any of them goes. And if Juliet comes back alive only to die again, I may have to join you in your quest to hurt someone.

Girl, you're spitting in the face of all the celebrity-watching possibilities you're given as a Californian citizen.
Kidding, I understand your lack of love for wandering around the more crowded/fancy places, but never say never. Josh is a nature/silent places lover, you never know where you could stumble upon him around there.
There is a downside to that, or at least there would be for me. If I met him on the streets of L.A. or in some very populated place, I would have the guts to stop him and say Hi, I doubt I would bother him if I met him while he's alone or with Yessica, looking for some peace of mind and relax. If he is probably prepared to be recognized in LA, not so much in smaller/random places.

But maybe I would bother him anyway, because even if I stay away, Josh would be met with the sight of a female adult standing still in the middle of the road and looking at him like this:

just add heart-shaped eyes, and that would be me.

Hey now, let's not step into *my* territory T - I am the Head Pessimist In Charge here.

You really think they will all die, or turn out to be dead in the end? I can't picture that, mostly because I doubt they'll kill off Sawyer, and leave the children without parents - even if there is a reset to 2004, I doubt they'll "erase" Aaron, and Claire should reunite with him.
My main problem with that scenario is that all the characters I am confident will end this journey alive are those I don't care about , I wish I was that sure about the fate of my favs instead.

I'm quite looking forward to this second meeting, I have to say.

You know, it wouldn't be bad to have those things for dinner every once in a while, but I believe you use them to replaces "real" meals often, you just don't always confess it.

I've gotten used to the hot and humid summers, when I really can't take the heat anymore I always have the shower.

Worst case scenario, if you are left without computer you still have the one in the lab, in case you have to give up on the car for a little while too, would that be a big problem?

This time I'll try to be more organized.
Will be meet at the same time of the other night?

Every time I rewatch LaFleur, I can't help but remember the weeks I spent preparing myself to see Sawyer and Amy live together, and all my speculations about James having to infiltrate Dharma to access a way to bring the island back in the future.

I guess I will spent even more time in the lab if the computer dies ...
it would be ok without a car... the bus system in this town is not too bad... and as long as it's not freezing I can always take the bike which is what I do every day now...

Are you sure you aren't just pretending not to like the epicness that is episode 3x09? You can be honest with us, we won't judge you. J/k, of course.

Happy doesn't really cover the extent of the feeling.
Actually, why I was watching LaFleur I was in complete state of shock, it just looked too good to be true.

I did go without a car in this town for a little more than 3 months and it was wintertime then... so it's ok
but crossing fingers can't hurt

I know the feeling - today I got a nasty virus and it took me over 3 hours to figure out how to get rid of it. I realize that the idea of being without access to a computer or internet is painfully scary to me, and must be for you too.

Sounds good. And last time we finished late mostly because 1) I tried to delay the watching for as long as possible, engaging you girls in pointless funny jokes because I was terrified, and 2) it was a two hours long episode.

The whole dream/hallucination thing is one of the few crappy plotlines I can't accuse Lost of having used.

a virus
so did you get rid of it? everything ok now? I really hate viruses... they're stupid
I can't imagine not having internet or the computer for a longer period of time... on vacation it's ok... but during my usual work day I need it

What piece are you supposed to replace, btw?
It's a fan in front of the radiator that's supposed to provide more air on a hot day... so far I've been fine without it even though we had a few really hot days...

I believe not even the producers like it, lol.
really?? than why did they grace us with such a great episode???

Sounds good. And last time we finished late mostly because 1) I tried to delay the watching for as long as possible, engaging you girls in pointless funny jokes because I was terrified, and 2) it was a two hours long episode.
I loved all the jokes I had so much fun last saturday and I'm really really looking forward to the next one

The whole dream/hallucination thing is one of the few crappy plotlines I can't accuse Lost of having used.
so far.... ... let's not think about that out loud... they might get ideas

Hey T how are you?
For me it's been going good, but long and busy days keep me away from :FF:
but at least something worked with my project so it's not that frustrating right now

I wish Lost would start soon... but it's still a few months away ... but at least I have the rewatch

It was some kind of program that would play in the background and tell me every 2 minutes that I had to buy some software to keep my computer safe. At first I got scared because it wouldn't make me do anything, then I rebooted and quickly stopped the execution of the damn program through the task manager. But my anti-virus wouldn't eliminated the thing, I downloaded and installed another program after doing a couple of google searches, called Malware-something, and that finally took care of it.

At least the timing is good - it's fall so no big deal for the radiator.

Well, they had been talking about Jack's tattoos for a while. I just never thought the explanation of them would be so underwhelming - and I usually appreciate filler episodes. But all the scenes of Jack's FB were simply unwatchable.
They said Stranger In A Strange Land is the episode that finally brought the producers and the studio to set an end date for the show, lol.

Hey there. Slow week so far - I'll try to enjoy it because things should start to pick up the pace for me next week.
