Aw no Fran, I hope what I said didn't completely put you off rewatching the finale!

I still think you should, but understand if you're not up to it yet

It really is beautiful though, the song choice is amazing

The beginning with just the audio from the finale is really powerful, and just hearing that started me off! The rest of the video was then gorgeous and just got me crying more. I especially loved the faster clips of their moments near the end as well - I love stuff like that. Thank you for posting it Fran! I'll have to go find it on youtube so I can save it to my playlist.

I know that people made assumptions... but how couldn't they wonder what that promo may mean for S6 when the bomb's purpose was to bring the Losties back to 2004, and the promo has the lines "You're so dead" - "I was". IMO, it was done on purpose. But perhaps I'm too much of a conspiracies lover.

Aww, don't worry!

You actually were pretty encouraging about the finale being terrible but also powerful and deserving a rewatch (some scenes, at least, because I'm not a fan of the episode as a whole) - I still can't do it, but I took a tiny step ahead with that video.

It is really beautifully done. I had to pause it after the audio in the beginning though, otherwise I would've watched the rest with wet eyes! Sawyer's plea gets to me all the times.

I was thinking - do we want to add some links to fics and videos to the new OP?

I think it was the fact that I knew what was coming up that got me so upset

... I don't know... I wish they just would have left and everything would be fine...

... I want them to be happy that's all... the scene wasn't that bad, but the episode was..

It might have been done on purpose but not really to con us I guess... I think it was done to make us wonder, and especially to make us wonder with a false lead but not in a bad way...

We don't really know if he got time to spent with his woman and son... we don't know anything... we just know that he was with her when she got pregnant and I guess for a few month while she was pregnant, but we don't know if he ever got to see his son... wait... i have to rewatch that episode and see on his stone when he died... I guess that would give a clue on weather he got at least some time with his family before he died...

I'm glad that finally people notice how great James and Juliet are together but on the other hand... why did they only notice it in the finale??? they have been great before... especially individually... so

I really have problems with accepting what happened... I just can't get over it... i don't know why... it makes me upset and I really don't like to be upset... I avoid that...

I hear ya. I remember saying when LaFleur aired, as great as Suliet was, they were really going to have to build on that for people to love the couple long term, and though they added some really sweet scenes, there wasn't anything that deepened the relationship even more (not until the finale

yeah I also think is really weird that they invest so much into that relationship... to me it doesn't make any sense if they are really planning on not having her there next season.. that's kinda why I still hope that they have something nice planned... maybe I'm proven wrong as soon as season 6 starts... but right now I still need the hope... maybe they just made it so intense because then it would make sense when Sawyer flips and does something stupid... who knows

I usually have pasta or rice when I have to "normalize" my diet a bit, I hope your stomach will stop being in pain soon.

Gah, that's pretty awful! I thought it was made clear that he had some happiness from the time spent with his family, because he died.

You nailed the problem. I wouldn't even hold against Kate the fact that she hooked up with Jack if things were different, because I knew she loved him. My problem is that the display of Kate's feelings for Sawyer arrived too late, like they had to leave it at the end for some epic revelation that should've left me in awe... instead it left me completely detached. It was very similar to Jack's "Because I Love You" - some may find both moments beautiful, but to me they were equally underwhelming. Kate didn't even make an attempt to try to make Sawyer leave the island with her, and no matter how angry you must be, if you love someone it should hit you the idea that leaving may mean not see them ever again. In S3 they both hurt each other, still Sawyer put aside his dark state over Cooper to try to get Kate to stay with him.
Kate took care of Clementine and I still thank her for keeping the promise, but somehow, it was also presented like her way to cope with things and being told by Cassidy and her opinion of Sawyer that she had done the right thing moving on from someone like him.
I just have a real hard time to see a true, uninfluenced devotion here.
On the other hand, Juliet took a complete leap of faith with Sawyer - the man who for a long time was simply the nasty suspicious Southern jerk to watch herself and her interests from. She decided to stay with him and for him only after a bunch of days spent bonding together. True, the revelation of their feelings for each other came after a time jump so they played the surprise card here, as well, but in this case made sense. They had tons of "in between" scenes involving the O6 and covering the flashes from TTLG to WHH, and never did a thing, while with the Left-Behinders they only had 1 chance.
And even at the bitter end (?), while she changed her mind trying to protect her own feelings, Juliet never stopped showing her love and even her understanding. And from where I stand, when you love someone you show it, simple as that.

I hope it passes soon, pasta always help my stomach because it makes you fill full but at the same time a simple tomato sauce is nothing too elaborated for the stomach.

That show is crazy, first brings Sarah back (and honestly, I think it was laughable to undo a decapitation) then kills their main character at the very end, it all seems done just for the shock value with little importance given to the consistence of the plotlines.

I still haven't worked on my fanfics list, anyway I don't remember if this one was already posted here but I would give a try to this AU story - the prologue puzzled me a bit but the author has a great way to write Sawyer, so far at least:

How did they explain it btw? How can you mistake a real head for a fake one, if that was what they did, didn't Michael or someone else got to see it in a box?

I believe they said that Linc didn't look good enough and he admitted himself that he could have been wrong about that head being Sarah because he didn't take a close look

yeah it was the weakest decision ever... I think most guys just ignored it because again there was a nice woman to look at and the Michael and Sara shippers were happy... so I guess a lot of people just accepted it... even if it was stupid

I got the new issue of the Lost magazine last night... that was a surprise, I didn't know it was time for that again
