I'm glad you like it! I thought about including the scene in the sub at the end of Follow The Leader, but the gif is already heavy as it is.
But I haven't gotten rid of the bases yet so I may try to add a few more frames, and maybe make it a bit smaller in size.
The sub scene would be nice too, but I love it as it is!!!
I didn't check how big it is, but it does look big. For me you don't have to change anything, I love it as it is.... I wish I could do stuff like that.

Your optimism doesn't apply only to tv shows.

Thank you.
Some messy stuff with my family, job hunting, that course I was supposed to take...
It was just a really bad day on a lot of fronts.

I think it's about 10MB, which is insane for an animation. But I forgot not to save the clips/screencaps frame by frame, remembered at the end and didn't want to go back and start all over again, lol.

You should see how I capped the bit from the finale... I turned off the audio and had one hand in front of my eyes, peaking out from time to time, lol.
Of all days to cowboy up and rewatch the Swan scene, this truly wasn't the best one - too much sad thoughts already.

BTW, what was I supposed to take care of for the OP?
I forgot my assignment.

10 MB is a lot... so can you still resize it without having saved the steps in between?

I was surprised that you had something from the finale in there... peaking out from your hand sounds funny so you survived that!!! I'm proud...but I guess it wasn't the best day to try to deal with the episode... I'm still trying to deal with The Incident an getting caps...

I think your supposed to do something from the happy times before the finale and I said I would deal with the finale and do something nice with that...
So could you make some animations from the good scenes and I'll provide the quotes when you finish that... is that an idea?

The problem of the job hunting is in finding the preys, lol.

This is the same size, but less quality - 6MB:

I survived but I got a glimpse of Sawyer while skipping through the clip to catch the right frames... and it was enough to remind me why I haven't had the guts to rewatch the eppy yet.

Speaking of that, Juliet's death scene is up in another category of the Tater Tops Awards:

Tater Tops 2009 - Moment That Made You Want to Throw Out Your TV: Juliet gives up, Lost

Sounds like a plan!
So, I have to do some things covering episodes 9-15, right?

The funny thing is that I would vote for 4 of the 5 things that made me want to throw out my TV ... and the sex scene that made me want to throw out the TV... I could vote for different ones there too...

Fran - I LOVE that animation Seriously, I have such a thing for hand-holding and hands, and, coupled with S/J, that could not be more perfect Of course, the symmetry between their joined hands in "The Variable" and then "The Incident" kinda hurts my heart, but I still love it. Do you mind if I snag it? I might or might not use it anywhere, but I'll credit you if I do

I voted for Juliet in both of the recent polls, and she's still winning both!

Those pics of Liz from outside Jimmy Kimmel are beyond gorgeous I love her little family, they're so adorable.

I've voted for the Juliet scene only because my whole being rejects the idea of Juliet being killed off without a happy ending, or at least a centric episode, but I have to say the scene itself was beautiful so I was a bit torn about voting or not.

I'm glad you like it and you guys don't think putting those scenes together had no point. And of course you can snag it!
And I perfectly understand what you mean because making the gif gave me a bittersweet feeling - it's hard to think and enjoy the old happy moments without being reminded of how things have ended this season.
I went to check the submarine scene earlier (and then decided to left it out because their hand-holding wasn't visible) and Juliet's happiness about going back to freedom saddens me so much now.

Speaking of Elizabeth again, "V" is one of the show present at Comic Con this July, it would be nice if she attended the convention.

Thank you! I definitely saw the point to it, and I love that you chose all those scenes in particular - it's so nice to watch them all one after the other

Yeah, it really is bittersweet. When I rewatch their early season, happier scenes and moments, I can't help but feel a little heartbroken because I know how it ends. Especially because the kitchen scene and everything from the 70s in "La Fleur" happened only a few days before what happened in "The Incident". It's so hard to think about how happy they were, and only a few days later they were arguing and being ripped apart so cruelly Not to negate their happier times though - they are all amazing and I still adore all of them, of course!

I heard about that - it would be so amazing if Liz went, especially since both V and Lost will be at CC. Of course, I expect nothing on the Lost side of things, but I'd love to see her there for V, especially since she's the lead. That kinda gives me more hope that she will be there really..!

Aw, good luck to you girls in trying to rewatch their scenes in the finale - I know you can do it! I know it's completely devastating to think about, and watch, but it's such an amazing scene at the same time that you really should watch it again. I'll pretend I didn't say any of this if you guys rewatch and are traumatised again though...

I'm not sure if she goes to something like Comic Con... but maybe she will... she has two reasons to go.. Lost and V are featured there this year... guess we'll have t owait and see. I hope she goes because it means tons of pictures and maybe interviews

I'm really scared to rewatch it... I'm not really sure if I can handle it... I've been denying what happened after the finale aired... but I guess I have to face my fears at some point... thanks for the confidence that we can do it

I will always appreciate the good things, but rewatching them makes me literally crave for a happy ending for Juliet - even if she had to leave the show, she could've gone home to her sister using some plot device once the Losties had gone back to 2007, Elizabeth would've come back only for 1 or 2 episodes to cover that so not a big deal.

Let's hope in some news about the guests in the next couple of weeks.
Also, I'm curious to hear how Damon and Carlton may adress the Juliet topic, if anyone asks them about it. They'll probably won't confirm anything, but their wordind/tone could help us know how they feel about it.

I hope they won't tease her return only to have her in one episode as a ghost, at least the producers could be the decent thing after seeing the post-finale reaction and not con their own fans. Although, they could not care at all - season 6 is the last one so they won't have to deal with angry reactions for long.

I've started trying to gather some courage.
Remember that fanvid I watched that traumatized me because it had the finale scene right at the beginning? I found it again and I went to watch it - it broke my heart but I managed it. The video is beautiful, btw:

Perhaps he could've had a happy ending, or at least stayed alive, if they didn't bring Sarah back and gave them a son.

I think they do care about what the fans think and i really hope they don't con us and give false hope on Elizabeth returning on Lost... I would really hate if they do that... I think the positive reaction to Juliet in the finale is going to work positive on the outcome... at least I really hope so

I remember, why did you watch it again?? .... I hope you don't want me to watch it ... I tried watching The Incident yesterday... and I couldn't... in the first scene where they were back on the island and Vincent was there I broke out crying... so I turned it of... and then my stomach was very upset with me ... so I don't think I will try again soon ....

I told you that I had put some stock in the ABC's president's comments at the Upfronts, but I've changed my mind after seeing how the network tried to tease the Lost fans about Charlie only to promote his upcoming role in Flash Forward.
So, ABC is not reliable. I hope the writers will act better.

No no, I didn't post it to torture you, lol! I just wanted to share it with the thread for the bravehearted fans, because it's really nice. I stumbled upon it back then because I was looking for an hold S/J video on YT to cheer me up a few days after the finale, didn't remember the title or the author so I started playing all the newest additions and that one "slapped" me right in the face.
Sorry even just the beginning of the episode got to you so badly.
I had to threw up at the end of the end right after the episode (I'm still ashamed to admit it, but that' show bad it was for me) so I know the feeling.

But did they really tease about Charlie coming back? I though that people were just assuming he could be on Lost after they saw that one Promo. I think ABC didn't really mean he would be on Lost... people were just confused after seeing him in the ABC promo I guess...
I certainly hope the writers are nice to us... I trust them too much I guess
