Thanks the lord Sawyer is not one for dramatic, sappy speeches - I think Juliet would ask him if he went to smoke some weed with Horace or got a concussion if he started talking all poetic and romantic.

We didn't really go hiking

... first we couldn't find the trail and then we were getting tired from driving in the car so Phil took us home, we had an early dinner and went to the movies

... so much for the hiking trip, but we still had fun...

That would make for a cute scene though, can you imagine James trying to be all *decent and polite* for the first time, when he still didn't know how Juliet would react to him crossing the line from friendship to something a bit more, one day, and Jules would blink, and raise her eyebrows at this new side of Sawyer she's seeing.

I had a pretty terrible day, came home hoping to get online and distract myself, but the connection was dead.

I ended up doing this animation - which in my deranged brain is supposed to be a sort of mini-recap of their story focussed on their hands:

I swear the idea made sense in my head when I started, not so much now that I look at the gif, err.

I'm glad you like it! I thought about including the scene in the sub at the end of Follow The Leader, but the gif is already heavy as it is.
But I haven't gotten rid of the bases yet so I may try to add a few more frames, and maybe make it a bit smaller in size.
