Speaking just for me, not doing a superhero role is okay by me. These superhero movies are oversaturating the market and most of them are silly. But that's just me.

Not doing one would be okay by me too. I wonder how Josh's writing is going? It would be nice if he's able to be successful with that.

I would like Josh to be a voice in a Pixar movie or act in a Woody Allen movie.

I read TV Guide's cover story on Josh again today. In it, Josh mentioned that he was offered the lead role in 2 high-profile Fox genre series and I was wondering which 2 shows he was referring to. The ones that came to mind for me were Alcatraz, Tera Nova, Almost Human and Sleepy Hollow. It must have been 2 of those.

I didn't realise he had mentioned Fox. I have only seen one of those, Alcatraz, and I couldn't get beyond the first episode. I was watching it for Jorge but I still couldn't get through it.

I didn't watch a single one of them, but considering that 3 of those shows didn't make it past season 1 and that Sleepy Hollow is already struggling badly for ratings in season 2, neither of them can be considered a big loss.

That's good then. It seems very hard these days to find a show that works.

I think Sleepy Hollow is a great show, it's sad that it has bad ratings.

Yes, it's sad when a show is great that it doesn't get good ratings.

I'd like Josh to be in this if Colony doesn't happen.

Sonar Entertainment will develop Stephen King’s bestselling novel Mr. Mercedes as a limited series for television. David E. Kelley (Boston Legal, Ally McBeal, The Practice) is attached to write the script and Jack Bender (Lost) will direct. Both will also serve as executive producers, as will Temple Hill Entertainment’s Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey and Sonar Entertainment CEO Gene Stein.

Mr. Mercedes, which King describes as his first hard-boiled detective tale, was published by Scribner in June. The story focuses on a psychopathic killer who commits mass murder by driving his Mercedes into a crowd and the recently retired cop who makes it his mission to bring him down. Mr. Mercedes is the first of a projected trilogy. The second novel, Finders Keepers, will be published by Scribner in May of this year.

“This is an amazing opportunity to adapt a script from material penned by one of the world’s most acclaimed and accomplished authors,” said Kelley. “Mr. Mercedes is a great story that will translate beautifully to the screen if I don’t mess it up.”

King is repped by Paradigm. Kelley is repped by CAA. Bender is with UTA.

I know Josh is probably never going to get it because the studios are allegedly eying Chris Pratt for the role, but I think he would be an excellent choice for the Indiana Jones remake.

That's just what I was thinking, Alex!

I just checked Chris Pratt's age and he abaout 10 years younger than Josh. I think Josh could do it though. He is so fit for his age.

It looks like The Dark Tower is going to get made. I hope Josh still wants to be in it. I know he had a meeting with Ron Howard but Ron isn't involved anymore so I don't know what Josh's chances would be. It might clash with Colony if that gets a second season.
