About 100 "Lost" cast members and crew jammed the wine bar of Cassis by Chef Mavro for 12 hours Saturday (from 4 a.m.).
This much is certain: Scenes were shot for a February 2008 show and Chef George Mavrolathassitis was interviewed for a segment for a "Lost" DVD bonus package. "I'm sworn to silence on the details, of course," Mavro said.
After leaving the premises, the Losties moved to Merchant Street, where snow fell and filled the street for the cameras. Hmmmm.
Singer Azure McCall had a speaking part on "Lost," opposite new cast member Ken Leung. With her own trailer, chair and hair/makeup crew, she felt like a bona fide star. ...
Interestingly, "LOST" is back at the historic YWCA on Richards Street in downtown Honolulu. It was again an interior shoot, closed set. But, trailers indicated accommodations for "Jack" and "Hurley," and sure enough, I spotted the pair leaving the building just as I was leaving for work.
I was in downtown Honolulu today (Saturday 9/22) and they were filming Lost. It was suppose to be in Germany. They had snow(shaved ice) all over the road. Some of the security said it was a Jack scene. It was not it was Sayid. There was no dialog I could hear, just naveen crossing the street several times. they only did about 7
takes and wrapped.
After naveen and jack Bender were talking in the street and the crew was throwing snowballs. It was a strange sight to see. Most of the snow/ice was almost melted except where there was a pile of it they used to cover the street.
I got to talk to Jack and Naveen and get a hug from both. They are so nice. I talked to some of the crew i know and then left. don't know the eppi as they said they are shooting so many right now it's hard to keep up with the shows. They are working 6 days a week except Sunday. I don't know if it so they can do season 4 and part
of season 5 or if it's so they cast and crew can have some time off to work on other projects.
September 21, 2007 New Lost official podcast (with DL and CC) - Estimate going back on the air in Feb, night and time yet to be determined.
- Flashforwards, flashbacks in Season 4.
- Losties have only been there about 100 days.
- They have agreed on whether Kate ends up with Jack or Sawyer (one of Darlton is a Jater and one is a Skater, although they won't say which).
- The flashforward we saw is not the end of the show--there is a lot of story beyond that.
- Darlton not fans of the idea of multiple futures. The future is the future.
- Time, space time, time travel are still going to be themes. The rules that Ms Hawking gave Desmond are the rules. The future is fixed, not parallel.
- They will 'park' Richard Alpert until they can figure out how to get him back on the show around his commitment to Cain. They have plans for Richard's story.
- Nikki and Paulo are dead. They had bigger plans for them but didn't have enough time for them and needed to get back to the regular characters.
- We will find out if Kate is pregnant with Sawyer's baby, we will find out by mid-March. They said a few times it might be episode 4.
- Mikhail is dead. Christian Shepard is dead. When you die on LOST you are dead.
(re-cap by KeepingAwake @ The Fuselage)
'OK, so technically, the ABC hit isn't bringing Cynthia Watros' short-lived character back from the dead. But Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse confirms to me exclusively that the actress will be playing Hurley's dearly departed sweetheart again this season for multiple episodes, presumably in more of Desmond's flashbacks.
"She'll be in enough of the show for us to fill in the missing pieces of her story," says Cuse. "We could not be more pleased. Cynthia is a smart and engaging actor, and [executive producer] Damon [Lindelof] and I have some very cool parts of her story left to tell."'
Question: Lost scoop. Please. Now. Begging. — Adele
Ausiello: What is this, a telegram? Never mind. Episode 4 will introduce three new characters, all guest stars, not recurring, presumably for someone's flashback (or flash-forward). They are a fortysomething corporate shark who's willing to put his lofty job on the line to get an even loftier one, his female counterpart and the old-timer who will decide their fates.
"It's Galzethron. And it has nothing to do with Widmore. My 'intel' says the Mark & Melissa characters are competing with one other (possibly the flashbacker of this eps.) for a promotion in Galzethron's company. I didn't post it before because that name sounds so fake."

- Ausiello's Emmys interviews: Carlton Cuse |Terry O'Quinn Carlton said they are working on some good flashforwards this season. The one from the finale was not the only one we'd see. He also said it's fun to write for new characters. TOQ said they are done filming episodes 1 and 2 and are about to start shooting episode number three. They are all a bit rusty, relaxed but getting used to it. They are already filming at night, in mud, water... so it work as usual. He doesn't know if Locke was in the coffin. (re-cap by Misty)
- Mumbai Mirror: Bipasha Basu to join Lost?
Spoiler:
'Our sources also revealed that that the makers of the famous series, Lost, are keen to cast Bipasha in their future episodes. In fact, they had approached her earlier too but she was not keen to be part of it. When asked about it, Simone said, “Till we don't sign the contract, I cannot say anything. It is too premature.”'
Bankrate: Any clues you can give us since we won't be seeing the show back on until next February (2008)? Damon Lindelof: I know there are "Save Charlie" T-shirts popping up around. (pause. silence) "The Hatch" imploded according to Locke but there is definitely more to this story. You will get a better picture of what happens later. And Jacob? The answer lies further downstream in the ongoing story. (longer pause). Character names on the show are not assigned without a reason. And yes, that is a clue. I will tell you that the season finale definitely set up season four. It will make you realize that the house you are standing in actually has a lot more rooms than you thought when you came into it.

One late-August day at Police Beach: The presence of shelters, camera crews and — gasp! — the actors playing Sawyer, Sayid, Jin, Desmond, Juliet and Hurley mean that filming is in progress.
From TourniquetMan: "They are here right now as I type this, in my town shooting a scene. Whitmore Village in Wahiawa, There seems to be a lot of activity near down a path leading to a stream area.
They were asking for kids in tattered clothing as extras, Josh Halloway was sighted."
From HaleiwaDiva: I saw them filming in Whitmore Village yersterday too,TourniquetMan. They were right behind the baseball field. It looked like they might have been filming in a house right there. I didn't see anyone outside, just the big white trailers and the usual signs.
She plays a character on the island; she's been filming in the jungle; one day she was filming and she was lying down in the forest and looked up and they were
there and she still could not believe that she is a part of it.
I was up in Nu'uanu in the afternoon (after Ryan had already left). By that time, the only cast members remaining were Evangeline Lilly, Matthew Fox and a new guy wearing a vest with a flashing red light on it. I believe it's Jeremy Davies, who plays a character named "David" or "Dennis".
*
Jack, Kate and Daniel are hiking uphill through the jungle. When they reach the top of a rise, Jack and Kate sit down to rest while Daniel, who's wearing a black vest with a flashing red light (probably identical to the one Naomi has on when she parachutes down to the island) pulls out some sort of communication device (again, possibly the same as Naomi's "phone") and says something like:
"George, it's Daniel. Yeah, my instrumentation went crazy. Seemed like some kind of electrical storm. I'm here with some of the survivors."
The rest of the dialog was inaudible, but Daniel and Jack seemed to be saying a lot to each other. The take was rather long, perhaps a full two minutes.
"LOST" was filming along a small streambed at Judd Trail, up Old Nuuanu Pali Road. A perfectly LOST-y jungle location.
All the action was out of sight, but it was good to see some familiar faces on the crew. I can only tell you that there was a major confrontation (I could hear yelling echo through the forest), and can rattle of the list of actors I spotted. But I think you'll agree, this simple list alone is enough to get one's heart aflutter. This was a major shoot!
Jorge Garcia (who was kind enough to stop and chat), Terry O'Quinn, Mira Furlan (in a nice checkerboard flannel-type shirt), Josh Holloway (who I believe was the aggressor), Michael Emerson (who appeared to have been on the losing end of a fight), and Emilie DeRavin. Of course there was at least one baby being carried around. Names overheard but not seen include Evangeline Lilly, "Carla," "Alex," "Blake," and "Fuzzy" (likely stunt pro Robert Moody).
*
RE: It really sounds like Sawyer is maintaining his darth side.
Indeed. To put my rambling first post more succinctly, I gather Sawyer was hollerin' mad, and gave Ben a good beating. True, Ben was smacked up quite a bit already, but the... make up job I saw made it look pretty fresh. Also, if Fuzzy is the stuntguy, I gather he was standing in for Michael Emerson for some of the more physical stuff.
*
There was a major confrontation of some kind, with lots of yelling and stunt fight coordination. I get the feeling "Sawyer" and "Ben" had words, and you can guess who ended up bloodied.
*
Minor update... my friend D.K. checked in later in the day and saw Matthew Fox. He was in a scene with Evangeline and another male character, described as "skinny" and and sporting a "D" name (Dennis? Daniels?).

- From RebeccahS via DarkUFO's blog: Jeff Fahey to play Frank Lapidus
- The Hollywood Exclusive - "Lost" getting scarier Emerson says changes are afoot for Ben, too. The mythical Jacob, whom Ben consistently maintained was the real leader of "The Others," was finally seen briefly last season — "If you looked close and had TiVo," quips Emerson. "He was this big, shadowy dude. I don't know if we're going to see a personification of Jacob this season, but I think, as the source of power on the island, we have him on our hands. He's that force or power that is important now, and it looks like he or it has chosen John Locke (Terry O'Quinn). So it looks to me like Ben is no longer the anointed manager of the island. It looks like Jacob only has one helper at a time, and it might not be Ben anymore, so Ben is vulnerable now."
- DarkUFO: John Terry (aka Dr. Christian Shephard) on the Island?
Spoiler:
Just had a report in from one of my spies on the Island that they have just seen John Terry, who plays Dr. Christian Shephard, on the Island. He was spotted at Kapahulu Starbucks.
"LOST" returned to familiar territory today, setting up this morning at the historic YWCA on Richards Street in downtown Honolulu. This building is known best as Hurley's mental institution, but also as Sayid's mosque and French restaurant.
Several friends pinged me with the news, and while it was all interior (and thus scene details are lacking), a couple of them actually got to talk with and take photos with Jorge Garcia. And at least one of 'em hung around long enough to see another actor leave the set... someone who sounds a lot like Lance Reddick, a.k.a. the original Mr. Eko, carrying something that looked like a doctor's suitcase or briefcase.

- The Nationl Ledger: ABC's "Lost" Begins Work in Hawaii: Upcoming Year Scarier Than Ever: Emerson -- who plays Ben Linus, leader of the castaways known as "The Others" -- reminds that at the end of last season's finale, Jack Sawyer (Matt Fox) was trying to signal a boat offshore in hopes of being rescued despite Ben's dire warnings that "it could be the death of everyone on the island."
***
According to the report, Emerson predicts there will be yet another shift in power between the combatant inhabitants on the hit ABC drama when it returns midseason. Although he notes that none of the cast knows for sure what's going to happen this season, "things tend to go from bad to worse on this show, so it's fair to assume anyone else who arrives on the island couldn't be a happy event."
- Evangelina Lilly is a Beach Babe | Evangeline Lilly : Just Jared "After a summer away, Evangeline Lilly returns to Hawaii to start filming the fourth season of ABC’s hit drama Lost (she’s been taping night sequences for the show)."

Spoiler:
My friend Emeka dropped by the pier Friday night to see what all the commotion was about: "It looks like they've started filming the second episode. They have a fairly big boat docked at the end of the pier. We had to keep a certain distance to keep from interfering with the filming. We were also not allowed to snap pictures. I did manage to get 1 of Naveen Andrews who plays Sayid, sitting in the foreground watching the filming. I wasn't there long enough to see if he was in the actual shooting. I'll upload the photo soon!"

For those of you that said Ben....nope sorry you were wrong....for those of you that felt it was Michael....nope wrong again.....those who said it is somebody we have not seen before nope wrong once again....BUT for alllll of you that said everyone's favortie hunter Locke....you are right...!!
Like I said this is from Kristin who is known to be a VERY reliable source on LOST but she also did say the writers changed their mind about showing Locke....soooo at this point who knows......maybe they will change their minds again....!!??
Question: Gasp! I love you, Michael, but I'm extremely worried about you. You wasted your energy answering two questions about One Tree Hill in last week's column, and you didn't even mention Lost once! I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone.— Nora
Ausiello: Imagine how I felt. I haven't had a decent night's sleep since that column ran last Wednesday. The good news? Order has been restored to the universe and, to prove it, here's a little Lost prattle: As you know, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Rob McElhenney did a small role last season as an Other. Well, here's what you don't know: The scene where Julie rifle-butted him in the head was not the last we were supposed to see of him. He was slated to appear in the May finale in some kind of big Others scene, but he was unavailable due to his Philadelphia sked. If I had a gambling problem, I'd bet my firstborn that we'll see him again.

From lizziefitz @ Lost-Forum.com:
Spoiler:
'I just sat in on Isabelle's (of spoilerfix.com) chat at buddytv.com, and she says that "multiple sources confirm" that the first episode is Sawyer-centric.'
Ginny in Ipswich, Massachusetts: Will there be any cast changes this season on Lost?
Aside from the newbies we announced last week (much thanks to Korbi for that scoop!), Entertainment Weekly is now reporting that Grindhouse’s Jeff Fahey will join the island crew this year. I can also tell you that, although I had heard a while back that we’d be seeing a little less of Matthew Fox this season, so far there are no signs of any “Jack-off” days on the production schedule (sorry, I couldn’t resist, I’m 12). So, we’ll see.
August 25, 2007 From HawaiiThreads.com - Another filming sighting 'They were filming yesterday afternoon and evening in the forest across Kam Highway from Heeia Kea Harbor, where Ryan saw that section of the plane, currently stored under a tarp. [...] I wouldn't be surprised if they're shooting there today too, given the huge amount of equipment I saw yesterday evening.'
I live in Kalihi, Hawaii. Yesterday, LOST was filming on N King Street by the Discount Store and Tamashiro Market, for those that live in Hawaii.
I was able to spot Josh Halloway (Sawyer). So I'm assuming a Sawyer flashback. OR maybe a flash-forward??
The scene involved a car being chased by two police cars, leading to the first car to jump a ramp and crash.
That's all I was able to see.
Sorry, I wasn't able to record or take pictures.
New character alert! The show has started casting the recurring role of Arthur Stevens, a very tall and thin corporate recruiter who is smart, capable and ruthless. "He may smile and his words may sound soothing," reads the casting notice, "but their effect can send chills up your spine."

- From the Lost official magazine, via SpoilerFix.com:
Spoiler:
Carlton Cuse and Damon Lidelof reveal: Who is on that frieghter and are they good or bad is a significant part of next years' show. [...] If Naomi was lying about working for Penny... who says there even is a boat?
Also appearing in 401 and 402, with possibly more eps down the line, is Arthur Stevens. He is a ruthless corporate recruiter, tall and thin, with a chilling prescence.
The producers deny that: 1) ABC is moving Lost to Friday night, at 9 p.m; 2) they have offered Peter Stormare a role in Lost's fourth season; 3) they have offered Forest Whitaker a two-episode gig in the upcoming season.
Question: Have you spoken to Darlton about having Kristen Bell on Lost? If you pull this off, I swear (and you have this in writing, with AA witnesses) that I will send you one case of Diet Raspberry Snapple for every episode of Lost that Kristen appears on. Hope you're up for the challenge!— Erin Ausiello: You better get busy clipping them there Snapple coupons, Erin. And while you're at it, slap on a pair of Depends, 'cause this is the kind of exclusive casting prattle that causes mass piddling: I can tell you for a fact that Kristen's name has been brought up with regard to the new role of Charlotte, the hot twentysomething who is said to be "precocious, loquacious and funny... a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world." Yep, sounds like our Kristen! The only question now is whether my in-demand BFF is ready to jump back into another series. And, if so, will the financial toll wrought by all those Snapple purchases force Erin to declare bankruptcy? Please, God, let the answer be "Yes!" to all of the above!
Rosie in Houghton, Michigan: Have you heard anything about Peter Stormare and/or Forest Whitaker appearing on Lost this season?
Interestingly, Peter and Forest have the same manager. We heard the same rumors you did and asked if either of those guys would be appearing on Lost this season. The management company came back with "not that we know of." That doesn't mean they're not working on a deal for one or both of them to be on Lost. But if it is true, it sounds like nothing is certain.
Jack Bender is directing
401 & 402
[RUSSELL] - late 30s, a brilliant mathematician and deep thinker who is capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields. He sometimes struggles socially by being too direct and disconnected in his interpersonal relationships. While an empiricist by trade he is humbled and fascinated by the magic and mystery of all in this world that cannot be explained by science....RECURRING ARC WITH A POSSIBLE OPTION FOR SERIES REGULAR FOR NEXT SEASON. Starts with Episode 1 - 8/19/07
[CHARLOTTE] -- late 20s. Very attractive in a naturalistic, athletic way, her looks are only one small part of charms. Precocious, loquacious, and funny, Charlotte a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world. On a personal level it is hard to crack the hard shell of poise and certainty around her, but when it DOES crack its like an egg; lots of repressed and pent up emotions spill out....RECURRING ARC WITH A POSSIBLE OPTION FOR SERIES REGULAR FOR NEXT SEASON. Starts with Episode 2 - 8/29/07
First up is the recurring character of Russell, described as a brilliant mathematician in his late thirties who is "capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields." Well, won't that be helpful. Unfortunately, he tends to be too direct for his own good, and as a result, his personal relationships don't always add up. Russell is scheduled to turn up in Episode 1. Also recurring is Charlotte (debutting in Episode 2), a hot twentysomething who is said to be "precocious, loquacious and funny... a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world." Interestingly, she, too, has a tough time relating to people. Beneath the surface, there's "lots of repressed and pent-up emotions."

3) The Rousseau Flashback is on hold untll later in the season or next but she will be seen in 2 other FBs that will give us fans more of a reason not to trust her.

Baby Kwon and Aaron are friends.
There is a wooden bike.

He is in a science lab with tons of different equipment
There is a younger female there. Unknown relationship to Ken.
He says he figured how it was possible.
The camera flashes to Two identical rabbits
I personally think he figured out time travel or cloning.
I've received the following from a source that comes via a third party so I cannot post this in the spoilers as it was not directly sent via my source who works on the set. Here are the details of what they can reveal.
- An up coming episode will feature a Jin/Sun Flashback
- The new character played by Ken Leung will be their son
As always take with some dosages of salt.
Geno's World has learned that Lacey Chabert is in discussions to guest star on an episode of "Lost". The "Mean Girls" star would be reuniting with her former "Party of Five" co-star Matthew Fox. It's only a one-shot, but it would be cute to see the two together! (Source: SpoilerTV)
1) there will be a "game-changer" in the first few episodes and it is something the fans will like...
2) Top 2 candidates for a main characters that will die this season are Sawyer and Hurley...this is something that could happen by mid-season and is currently being tossed around by D&C....
when I pushed my source for more info and on the possibility of a death like this occurring they saidit was a 6 out of 10 right now.....sooo take it for what it is worth....i am guessing that most likely it will NOT happen but who knows really...
1) Negotiations with Harold Perrineau and Malcolm David Kelley are being made with Malcolm contract practically agreed and feelings are that agreement with Harold's people is very close.
2) Only one new actor will enter in the fixed cast, and the actor currently being sought for this role is Peter Stormare.
3) The producers have invited the actor Forest Whitaker to participate in two episodes at the start of the season.
1. The AICN stuff about flash-forwards and flash-backs is true. It will be roughly split in half, the flash-forwards will tell a story culminating with how we saw season 3 end. That doesn't necessarily mean just Jack and Kate get off the island, but whatever flash-forwards we see will culminate with Jack deciding they have to go back and trying to convince Kate.
2. The flash-backs will be mostly from Others: Juliet, Ben, Alpert, although Desmond is definitely slated for at least 1.
3. The temple is important, and will be explored in the last half of the season
4. Rousseau isn't telling the truth about her experience on the island
5. Karl and Alex will have a more central role.
6. Sawyer and Kate will continue to be distant.
7. Locke will not be part of the main group of castaways for the majority of the season, he will be off to the temple with Alpert and then doing his own thing.
8. You won't be able to tell right away that what arrives in the ship is bad news, but it absolutely is
- The rumor is true about cast member having problems on the show and they want off the show.....and they will NOT be missed by many of the cast members.
- Harold Perrineau is asking for a lot of money and does want to be a regular.
- We will meet Naomi's crew sometime next season, but no one has been cast yet...
- We will find out what happened to Annie.....it is another chapter of Ben's story that will be seen at some point early in the season...
- Alan Dale (Widmore) will be seen again...
- Nick Jameson (Richard Malkin the Psychic) will make another appearance this season...
- The season will focus on 2 (two) main story arcs that will occur during the season and will explain many of the things we are all wondering about....
- Ben and Locke will fight and that will question Locke's loyalty...
- Desmond's future is told in a Season 2 (TWO) episode and it will be tested during this season..
Huge is almost an understatement.
I thought about putting only links to the filming sightings... but we both hate with a passion having to open a link every time we need to check a past news, so..! It will look a little better when I'll post all the August stuff on Lj.
I forgot to ask you this: the script pages found on the beach with the Locke/Ben dialogue have been proved fake for sure or not? I didn't add that to the rumors but I wasn't sure.
I don't know if Kristin will have her chat, from her post on E! I got she's very busy with the footage and news collected at the Emmys, and I've been sending her questions no stop for weeks, today I could take a break seeing as it's not even sure she'll post the column.
We still have Mr. Eyebrows tomorrow.

Mr. Eyebrows
How funny would it be if Kristin replied to any of all the question about which character will have the S4 premiere, now that we got the news from Dark?
I would like to ask Ausiello about the death rumors again, but probably he and Kristin won't ever reply to such a question before the new season has even started, so I could go with Skate?
Last question: in Dark's Character Cup, will they have a match for the 3rd and 4th place? Like in the UEFA Champions League?

Something's fishy here.
Usually the results remaing more or less the same throughout the day.
The exception was Ben v. Jack. If I remember correctly Ben was in the lead at the beginning but by the end of the match the situation changed.
The same thing is hapening now when Jack is facing Locke. He'll probably be in the lead in an hour or two.
It doesn't happen with any other characters except with Jack.

Nope. I didn't think about asking because that Friday I phoned the technician, the second time to confirm him that he could order the thing, he was on the cell phone and busy with another customer and the conversation was very quick.
Call him again.

Misty, a post of yours just made me remember how much I would like to kick Josh's publicist's ass.
You could send him (the publicist) a complaint letter.
It could be that in these polls, multiple voting is possible, but the creator of the poll can check all the votes at the end and not count/delete the "cheating" part of them. Maybe Dark/G-Man doesn't do that for this competition because every poll stays open only for 24 hours, and checking the results would take too long?
Just an idea from a very suspicious person.

I'll call him tomorrow morning, you're right.

The agent (thanks for the right word) is lucky I have no idea who she/he is or how to find out. But if I ever write to Josh, I'll mention that.

I think the votes from the same IP don't count, but someone with proxy server (however those work) could probably change IP and vote multiple times.
Am I correct in remembering Ben having the lead at the beginning of his match or am I making it up?

Address the letter to JH's agent and send it to Josh's address.

I can't say a thing about the big proxy servers because I'm pretty ignorant there, but if you can just automatically stop/delete the votes coming from the same, identic IP, without a major filter, then a lot of votes pass. almost all the ADSL IP are dynamic, not static. I have a 24/7 contract, so as soon as I turn the modem on, I'm online. I don't use the connecting window (the one with your username and password), so I pretty much have the same IP for the whole session. But if I use my ADSL connection window, 9 out of 10 times I disconnect and connect again, I'm going to be assigned a different IP, although, if I remember right, they usually give similar sequences of numbers to the connections from a same area, so 1 or 2 of the 4 parts that rapresent a IP can be identic.

I remember Ben being in the lead for 52 to 48 when I first voted in the morning, but I don't remember what time it was.

That's a nice idea.
All big celebrities have an agent, right? It's not like there is the possibility Josh doesn't have one?

I don't even turn my modem off and the programmer set it up so that I don't have to connect. I'm always online. Sometimes I lose connection, have to re-connect and my IP changes. It happened this morning but I was still only able to see the results of the match. My vote had been registered.

I got up before you did this week so it might've been even higher, but this is also interesting.
The early results always indicated who the winner would be and by which margin, except for Jack's last match and apparently this one too. Oh well.

Imagine the embarassement if you send the letter, address it to his agent, only to find out he doesn't have one.
Yeah, don't do it!
I already sait this on L-F but I think we might see Sawyer looking for Clementine in his FB/FF if he's in the scene with those kids in tattered clothes.
I'm not giving up on my sad, emotional flashback scenario.

I'm pretty sure you can vote again if you delete the cookies. Other polls require deleting the cookies and restart the computer to be able to vote more than once, so there are more sophisticated ways to stop the multiple voting, perhaps recognizing the computer more than the connection, but I'm totally clueless about how they work.

Jack is in the lead now?

Then I'm going to kick Josh's butt for never hiring one, because IMO he could use some help.

I had the same thought, but didn't want to embarrass myself saying it because it's a long shot of a spec.
