Actually LOTS of people hate MerDer... I think they may be one of the most hated couples to ever be a shows main fixture... but those people get real sick of Grey's and probably don't post anywhere where fans of the show gather... Cause let's face it, it's the MerDer show 90% of the time. Meredith's whole EXISTENCE is based around Derek and that is why she bugs me. I want her to have storylines with Lexie, Christina, etc. I want her to have a whole life that is independent and uninclusive of McDumbass.

Yeah, I just typically stay oblivious to most of them because I don't go to places for the shows. One Tree Hill, General Hospital, and this show are really the only shows that I regularly go to boards and stuff for.

Oh god, OTH! hahhaa now that's a fandom that has like, equal parts hate and love for everyone!

But at least there, the characters (minus haley) get lots of development with oteres outside of their romantic entanglements... Mer just needs to be tougher and get away from Derek for a while.. or forever.

The OTH fandom amuses me...although, I have to say the General Hospital fandom...ooh buddy, talk about some major effing love/hate. I mean, OTH fans rag on Mark, but you ain't seen nothing until you hear what half of the GH fans say about the headwriter, executive producer, and president of daytime. And nobody has fanbase wars like tht show. The fans alone are more entertaining than the show.
