I'd love to see Jason do a romantic comedy with Rachel McAdams. She's one of the best up and coming actresses today with lots of talent and I think she is gorgeous.

I'd also like to see Jason in something with Jim Carrey or Robin Williams. Can be comedy or drama; all three can do each very well.

According to IMDB Jason will be starring in the movie Dreamland and his co-star will be Kat Dennings who can currently be seen as Marla in The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

I still haven't seen 40 year old Virgin and I love Steve Carrell.

As for who I would like to see, someone mentioned Rachel McAdams and I could go for that. I really like her and I would love to see what type of dynamic the two would have.

Also, a fave of mine who Jason also admires, Gary Oldman. Both bring so much to the screen and I would love to see how they would play off one another.

I would want him in a movie with Chad Michael Murray, because no matter what, just because BOTH of them in ONE movie, that would be my favorite movie.

And I would also like to see him in a fun/gross teen flick. Probably along side any of the cast from American Pie. I want to see him be funny!

I'd love to see JD in a drama where he could really show off his acting chops. I'd also love to see him work with Christopher Eccleston because both of them seem so dedicated to their craft but I doubt that's ever going to happen. CE mostly does work in Britain. Still, they are both very talented and impressive.

Yes, I definitely would prefer a good drama as well. Something that would show his range because that's what often amazes me. And I want someone that can equally bring it just as much as he can.

Please, no stupid "teen" movies. Jason is just too good an actor for that. He needs something worthy of him and an actress who is also worthy of him. Mandy Moore, I don't think so! Rachel McAdams, maybe! And she's Canadian too! I can't really think of anyone, off hand, but I sure know who I don't want to see him working with or what type of picture I don't want to see him in. It seems like a lot of the actors from teen shows end up in horror schlock. Jason is really much too good for that unhappy fate. Just think of that schlock fest with Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton. Really, does Jason not merit a better fate?

I agree Dena and I think it's safe to say he won't go that route. He seems to be smartly biding his time, probably waiting for just the right script.

Ok, I know this thread is about who I'd like Jason to work with, but the one movie that I KNOW Jason would've been great in is the movie Hostel. I think he would've been great playing the role of Josh which is played by Derek Richardson. Remember when Logan was tied up by the PCHrs when Weevil wanted to know whether or not Logan killed Felix? He was great screaming around in that scene. And we all know how great he can act like he is having a nervous breakdown.

What do you think?

I haven't seen Hostel but I've heard about it. But I do agree, that the russsian roulette scene in AM was so powerful and Jason can certainly bring on the intensity. It's one of the things he does best in my opinion.

Okay, good point. I agree, I just have an obsession over Chad too

I'd like to see Jason work with Lizzy Caplan (Janis from Mean Girls). She has great comedic timing and I think it would be so much fun to watch them snarking at each other.
