Well, that's an idea I didn't even think about Them on the big screen. What genre of film?

I'm still bummed that the lab work they did at Sundance for Dreamland was never really made into anything. As dark as the material was I know Jason would have been amazing if they had went further and he had actually gotten the role.

It's funny you mention that. I was watching the special features on my Hedwig and the Angry Inch DVD, and they have a documentary about how Hedwig became a musical and then became a film. The director/star went to Sundance while they were still writing the screenplay and they have the videos from the Sundance Lab included in the documentary. It's pretty cool to see them working through a couple of scenes and see how they evolved from what was in the play to the Sundance lab to the film. I immediately thought how amazing it would be to have a chance to see the videos of Jason doing the Dreamland material. It's a shame that they'll probably never see the light of day.

It's fascinating to see what really goes into the process at times.

I agree, just seeing the video of what was done would have been great. But you're probably right too in that they'll never come to surface. It's a shame.

Ok..so I"m bumping up old threads!

Anyone have suggestions as to a role they'd like to see Jason in? What about playing a superhero? Yeah..I've been watching Smallville alot. So, something like that? Not necessarily Superman..but something along those lines?

To be honest, I'd watch him in anything..as long as the script was well written and stuff.

This is me too. How well the material is would really make the difference.

I'd like to see him star in something that lets him really shine as an actor. I don't care if it's big budget or not, I just want to see him with a lead role. They are so few actors these days who can do what he does.

I agree Fleur and I always feel like people are missing out that don't know about him.

I hope so too Jenn.

The thing I noticed about Jason though is when he's involved in one project he seems to totally commit himself just to that. (like with VM/Logan) and really didn't seem to want to branch out and do other things. But since ML has ended the season early I wonder if he'll be looking for something since the hiatus will be longer.

Did he say in an interview that he was looking over some stuff?

I don't remember him saying anything like that recently, but I hadn't been reading as carefully as I should.

I'd like to see him do some more comedy, actually. Something lighter and not as heavy (but still complex.)

Maybe I read it during the summer. Or maybe I got it confused with someone else

Jason in comedy would be awesome.

Can you just imagine sitting in the theater one day and watching Jason up there? I can't wait! And I feel confident he'll make the right choices.
