True, and that's one of the problems that so many people had with S2 and S3. If it could have been done to still see Veronica's interaction, I'd have been more on board with all of it.

For that matter, I'd have rather seen Veronica not being as bitter about Logan, and working with him more on his case than she did.

I thought more people had problems with the bus crash storyline than the Logan/Weevil centered one. I certainly thought that one was more interesting, Logan bias aside. S3 was back to all about Veronica, with no one else having a real story, which I didn't care for. But that is JMO, of course.

*This is probably more of a Logan thread discussion. Sorry.*

I'm totally with you on all of that, Roz.

Ha, I keep trying to post why I disagree, and I keep hating how it turns out! I give up. I'll just say that I don't think Logan had too much screentime in S2, and in S3 he didn't have anything interesting to do at all. I'm amused that I'm defending Logan to people that love him as well.

I'm not saying that I mind the presence of Logan in S2 and his lack of presence in S3.

I think the problem is that the show lost the Veronica focus that kept so many people from enjoying S2 and S3. There's a noticeable shift between S1 and S2, for whatever reason.

There's still much lover for Logan, but you can tell that including the storyline shifted the attention away from being about Veronica.

I have to agree on that, Roz. There was a shift between the end of S1 en S2 and that made it different. It would have been different if they had made V very much involved in the S2 stuff, but it was more Logan focused. There was a lack of connection there.

I think there was more Logan screentime in S2 in an effort to give Kristen Bell a rest. My other point was S3 was entirely Veronica focused. I guess my main argument is I've heard lots of complaints about those seasons, and loss of focus on Veronica is never one I've really heard. In fact, I would say LOSS of focus on characters is one I hear way more often. I guess we can just agree to disagree on this one.

Yes, I remember Rob mentioning something like that.

I'm really kind of easy when it comes to L/V. I would have been a little more satisfied with both season 2 and 3 if we didn't keep missing the "big" moments onscreen between the two. I'm all about the pay off after getting the buildup.

There was a stronger Logan story because KB needed some time off on set, that's true. But when that happened, the show also managed to get out of her head and into everyone's.

But I still love what we got with LV in S2, and some of S3, so it's all a moot point.

I can actually go back and "now" and enjoy the good we did get for the most part. They definitely were and will always be the IT couple of the show. At least nothing can change that.
