| You know I never really felt L/V/D as a love triangle. To me, for a love triangle to work, there has to be some sort of conflict to pick one over the other. Like Angela, I never felt conflicted as well over L/V/D. I think my problem is I rarely buy into "ready made" ships when a show starts. Although I'm sure there's been a few exceptions. | I don't think Veronica ever wanted both of them at the same time (I couldn't think of a way of saying that without it sounding dirty - not intentional!) - and they never overlapped. I mean, when she and Logan got together the first time, she'd been broken up with DUncan for ages. Then when she got back with Duncan it was awhile after she and Logan broke up, though it seemed like they overlapped because it all happened in one episode (I was kinda pissed about that, tbh - we got only half an episode of S2 with them being together after the entire "Who was at the door" thing, before they break up? What?!). After Duncan fled the country, Veronica didn't immediately get back together with Logan. I guess I can see why they considered there to be an existing triangle - but I definately can't see why Duncan was pigeonholed as the brooding one (uh?) and Logan as the funny one (?!). That just did not make sense to me. However, any mention of VM makes me happy...  | |||

| ITA Lucie (and others). There were no times where V couldn't decide between D and L. She was always firm in her decisions. She decided to be with one, or the other. And the one she didn't choose was pushed out of her mind. Allthough it was very hard to do with Logan in S2 (of course!). You could see she had trouble forgetting him. But still, no triangle, not really. __________________ | |||

Anyways..back to LoVe..I agree with Logan, Veronica and Duncan were never a triangle. It never entered my mind because the guys never fought for her affections...she never felt like she was in the middle of a tug of war with them or whatever. She was with Duncan, he broke up. She was single and dated a couple of guys...then started seeing Logan secretly. Broke up but got back togheter...broke up again. Started seeing Duncan shortly after her bday. He left..she got back with Logan later. And the thing is...when she was with Duncan the second time...she spent alot of time with Logan cause of the murder investigation... (I pretended to see her pining for him) but you really didnt' see a triangle situation. | And I would gladly volunteer myself for one of those positions. I wouldn't mind seeing him as a romantic lead ala James Marsden 27 Dresses ( his character so reminded me of Logan-esque) but that's more for the other roles thread discussion....And in an attempt to make this post LV relevant - I wonder how it would have turned out if we had Veronica and Parker fighting over him and he was genuinely torn? I mean obviously in the end LV would have won hands down, but what if he was sick of all the drama and actually fell for Parker more than he did on the show? __________________ i'm strong but i break i'm stubborn and i make plenty of mistakes... | |||
