Loganisms - Those quirky things he does
Talk about all of Logan's mannerisms, gestures or anything else he does that is so damn unique!

I love this idea! I like how he is consistent. He frequently as one leg propped up and he likes the 'ok' symbol (and loved that Aaron did that too.) I"m sure there are others. My fave thing, as I said, is that JD makes Logan consistent, makes him seem more real.

His gleeful way of clapping, like a little kid always cracks me up.
And of course being with V always puts a little bounce/skip to his walk that always brings a smile to my face. I really wanted someone at the Con to ask Jason about Logan's mannerisms- how much is scripted and how much does Jason bring into it. |

I think it's what JD brings to the character. He sounds pretty hyperactive so I think it's just him. I love the little skip he does.

"I never saw any of the writers on set, but I think most of it is JD because the script leaves a lot of room for interpretation. I don't remember the director giving JD any notes on physical mannerisms, but there was some discussion on the way he asks her out, because KB pointed out that he asks her out right after she makes the comment about cheerleaders with low self-esteem available domestically, and she thought if he asked her out in a casual tone it would come across like he's implying she is the domestic cheerleader with low self-esteem." |

Yeah I think Jason adds all of Logans little quirks and what not, you just don't see any other character on the show that has them like Logan does. And I love it. The big gestures are so dramatic and over the top but it makes sense for Logan as a character to have them, both his parents are actors so he has grown up with them.
Putting some screen-caps of the of the okay symbol cause I adore it. It's almost child-like but still kinda of a jackass thing to do. __________________

The middle pic with the okay sign is my favorite. He's just so cute.
I also love how he'll scrunch up his face. Like when he says "She's a keeper." It's jiust so cute. __________________

I love that Aaron does the ok too. Can someone put a cap of him, just to compare? (He does it in MAD)

Also Logan does the Jazz hands when mocking Aaron and Trinia in his fathers bedroom the morning of (?) his mothers funeral. Aaron does the same Jazz hands when out confronting the reporters.

Screencap of Haaron doing the okay sign...it's not nearly as cute as when Logan does it though, but yay for family traits?
Oh and a screencap of Logan's little "time travel" kick, cause it was cute as hell and the cap makes me laugh.. __________________

Thanks for the info from the extra Max. Interesting stuff.
And I agree Kendra about being the product of actor parent's probably has alot to do with how over the top/dramatic Logan can get. The caps are cracking me up. I didn't even realize Aaron was doing it as well. |
