Personally, the "substance" that VD has doesn't seem too real to me.

Yeah, to me neither!!! It seems so forced from Veronicas side to be normal again!!! I can see Duncan still loving Veronica, because he probably never stopped loving her and their break-up wasn't wanted, buuut I can't really see what Veronica is seeing in him other than him being "normal" and "stable" ( which he isn't )!!!

But we know, that that won't/can't stay that way... drama is going to happen!!!!

Was it just me, or in the last scene when Duncan hugs Veronica, did it seem very brotherly? I mean, when he kept holding her it got a little too weird to be brotherly, but at first it seemed very much not boyfriendly. I mean, if he were Logan, I just think he would've kissed her, not just hugged her.

I always think that in such a moment hugging is more likely... I always think that when a scene like that happens in a movie, that it is really unrealistic! I would hug somebody if I was worried about him and not frenchkiss him!!!! But that's me!!!!

But I think that he seemed kind of brotherly all over the ep.... I don't get the VD feeling!!! I don't know!!!??? But it is not just me I guess

I don't mean like start making out, there was just something that seemed very passionless about it. Maybe I'm seeing what I want to see, though.

That's exactly what I thought.There wasn't any passion or despair.It seemed very brotherly.I really wonder if that was the aim or if Kristen&Teddy just don't work out together as V/D.Logan would have hugged her tightly and would have kissed her everywhere on her face(a bit like in Titanic when Rose refused to abandon Jack on the boat).

Ok, this made me laugh.

Back on Logan, it hurts that he's not with Veronica but I am interested for once to see his story and how it affects him as opposed to how everything ties into Veronica. Of course it still could, this is her story but I would really love to get inside Logan's head for a change

Yes I noticed that too. Generally Veronica and Duncan act like one of those arranged couples, you know. Goodie two shoes, let's do what they expect of us, no emotions kind of way. Veronica and Logan on the other hand is fire. Together or apart. I can't wait to see how Logan reacts in the next episode when he finds out that his Veronica could die in this bus accident.

My only concern is that we're gonna have to see a lot of bad, tortured, lost Logan before we see the sunny days of LoVe.

Jason was amazing in this episode. I really can't wait for the murder mystery surrounding him and I definitely think that the knife was planted on him. I loved when he made a reference to the Jets and the Sharks while seeing Veronica with Duncan only because West Side Story is my favorite musical and that fact that he mentioned it makes me love him so much more now.

Didn't Duncan say the Jets and Sharks line? I could have sworn he did, because he was alluding to Logan's part in the class wars in Neptune.

But it was a cool mention anyway, I love WSS too.

Just watched the episode again, and I have to say I don't think I've ever been more impressed with Jason's acting than I was in the limo scene. The look on his face was just so very real- he looked lost, frightened, wounded. So perfect.

If Logan had thought that V had been on the bus, I think he would have been freaking out. Duncan didn't really show all that much emotion considering that as far as he was concerned, his girlfriend had just gone over a cliff. I agree that Logan probably would have planted kisses all over her face and I could see him tearing up. I mean he would have thought that she was dead. The emotions would have overtaken him. I just didn't see that with Duncan at all.

Don't stone me, but I thoughth JD's charisma was hiding for most of the episode. And since he was so great last year, I have to believe it was done on purpose.

I just realized the pun I made, and I didn't mean to, cuz I don't like them together either. Seeing him with Kendall is too high of a price for shirtless Logan, imo.
