Josef/Mick Friendship Thread #1: They have vampire solidarity!

We have to have this thread. I love this friendship! They work well off each other. Loved the banter!

Mick: 'Hey and don't forget, I'm your only friend who doesn't like you just for your money.'
Josef: 'That's true...sad but true.'

I was lefit with wanting more Josef/Mick that's for sure. And Josef's line about "vampire solidarity", I was thinking that would make a great title for a thread last night at work (yes, I was thinking about the board lol) and here it is LOL

You can kind of see Josef loves to cross the line with him but then they seem to back down. It's an interesting friendship for sure and I can't wait to see where this leads in the future with Beth being thrown into the mix.

I really want to see more about their friendship, too. I mean, we get that they have tension at times, but it's done for a common reason.

There's always hoping that we have more of this explained as the show goes on.

I've watched their scenes a few times now and I always giggle at, "Ah, you look good, been working out? A little bit huh?" JD has the ADD aspect down pat. He doesn't even pause after the question. And I love Mick's looks throughout. It's very evident these two go way back. And speaking of going way back I know they said they weren't really going to be flashing back too much. But hearing about them being at the '82 superbowl, I'm really craving some flashbacks between the two. Maybe a case will come up and they'll have to use one at some point.

Flashbacks would be super fun! These two really play well off of each other. The dialogue was quick and funny and natural. I like how they both busted each other - like they've been pals forever (actually I guess they have)...

I want to know how these two met! I did love watching the interaction between them. Especially when Josef was questioning the blood and Mick's like 'If you don't like it..' and starts to reach for it..and Josef's like 'Get outta here'

They are just awesome to watch It's going to be fun to see more. I'll be making art at some point

It's like they have a natural friendship or something and they work well off each other...at least in that scene. I really can't wait for more! And I really need to get an art made of them

Yes, it's apparent they go back a long time (how long I wonder?) and know each other very well. Can't wait to see how they are in the upcoming eps.

I'd guess that they go back as long as Mick's been turned, but I could be wrong.

Probably right Roz.

I loved Mick's look when Josef made the comment about wanting to meet Beth, hee.

But how about that 80's party?? Wow, I was seriously dying there. But it was fun.

I still need to rewatch their scenes today but I enjoyed last night. I think I only laughed at Mick's vamp face twice LOL. I can't help it guys. He reminds me of someone, not sure if it's the vamps in Lost Boys or what. Or maybe its' the original Salem's Lot.

I so much fun with the scene in the middle of downtown LA (with Disney Hall in the BG) about how long Mick would be in jail for with the "enhancement" of the gun.

That 80s party was also hysterical! I want more moments like that.

I loved, "That's what they call it, enhancement"

Can't wait for more of these two next week. And yes, more flashbacks are a must.

'Is that your friend? The blonde? I'd like to meet her sometime.'
Mick's sharp look.
'What..I'm just sayin'

Yes...I died at Mick's look. The friendship between these two is awesome.

It's a funny sort of friendship, however. I mean, Mick constantly gives Josef these looks at the stuff Josef says, but I suppose that's natural.

They did have fun in the 80s, however. That's a good sign. Mick's too serious right now.
