Jenn and wistfuldreamer, awesome art and icons. So much Josef goodness, I love it!

cheerios, that is a good question and I'm still trying to imagine Jason corporating the ADD into everything at this point, that's going to be something as well. He'll have to change subjects on a dime, etc. As for the accent, I'm thinking they'll take liberties like Buffy/Angel but I guess we'll see. I'm wondering how long Josef's been in the states too. Can't wait to get into the complete backstory of it all.

Thanks for posting that. The Moonlight stuff is pretty much what we've been hearing, I think it'll be a while before anything new pops up.

OT: The VM stuff, ouch Rob, ouch. I'm pretty certain that having Logan doing "an irredeemable act", and having JD for only a couple of episodes, would've been a really bad idea. The fandom would've exploded. Things were so crazy already with people being very vocal about their displeasure with RT and/or the direction of the show, this would've been a disaster. I kind of have to agree with people who say RT never understood why we loved Logan, I guess he was always supposed to be the OPJ, but because of JD, and to a certain degree the fans, the character kind of got away from him. Well, now I'm even more glad I was never a fan of the FBI idea.

Sorry if I ranted a little, you could never tell, but I'm a bit passionate about Logan and JD

Oh, believe me, I share your feelings about the VM stuff. I hate Rob Thomas with a passion. I'm going to laugh and laugh and laugh when his next show is a total disaster. But that's a conversation better suited for a different thread.

I'm definitely glad we didn't have to see a Season 4 if that was the way RT was going to go. What a bummer. Well, at least I can imagine in my own mind what happened to Logan after 3x20

Jason seems really excited by this role, and I can't wait to see how he plays it on screen.

The dude still can't seem to get KB off of his mind, can he?

Jen--I was just talking to Ellie about the KB gushing.

As to the RT stuff, I'll leave that for somewhere else.

The Moonlight stuff is interesting though, but I'd wish we had more of an idea of where Josef is supposed to go before I get really tired of this same stuff again and again.

Thanks for the link to the new interview!

I like the dynamic that Jason was talking about between Josef and Mick. It should be interesting

I know, right! It seems like RT would have ruined Logan's character

Thanks for that link, it's great to see how excited Jason is about the role and how dedicated he is to it. You know reading Anne Rice and all.

Though I had to laugh at the number of times he said "cool". He's adorkable.

Thanks for bringing that over Sam. Talk about classic Jason hee! And yes, about the VM/Logan stuff, I share the same sentiments for sure. So glad that didn't happen. And it's another reason again to be so excited for Jason to have this new opportunity.

And Roz, I'm with you, I can't wait to hear more about Josef.

IGN TV: You say he's feeding off of concubines. Is he killing them?

Dohring: I think he would have no qualms about killing people, but these are just beautiful girls that he keeps around as a meal replacement; for a protein shake.

Jason has a great sense of humor. I'm glad that's not the route they went with VM and the audience who loved the show so much can come up with their own endings.

I've heard such different versions of what Josef's character will be that I'm not sure how the character is suppose to come across. I know Jason will play him wonderfully and I will enjoy the character.

Though I have a pretty good grasp on what Mick's character is like. And from how Josef is a mentor to Mick and trying to get him to be a little more vampire. And Josef's a stock broker so that says something about him. He like power and he likes to live dangerously somewhat because people who deal with that much money are willing to take risks. And when you've been around for 400 years and are that young, rich, and powerful. You would probably be showing off in a way.

Totally agree with you there. I'm not sorry to say well I'm glad it ended, because to not have Jason in it is a monstrosity. Or to just have him commit this terrible act is ridiculous. What crap to be treated like that after 3 years. Logan is so much better than that. I am so glad he's got a new show. He deserves it and I can't wait to watch this fall.

LOL, protein shake.

The protein shake is such a Jason comment. He's too dorky for words, but in the best way possible.
