Josef Konstantin #1: It's just about the fun and general debauchery!

Welcome to the Josef Konstantin Appreciation Thread!

Brought over from the other thread

Hmm...

Maybe it won't be so bad. I mean David did have a hand in the major retool and wasn't it mentioned he oversaw the hiring of the writing staff?

I really can't wait to her the scoop from tomorrow's panel. I need some reassurance.
And the title is from Jason's interview with Sci-Fi which Julie posted about here

And here are a couple of TCA pics

First Promo Pic!

Thanks for the new thread Jenn!

I'll try to get over here with details as soon as I can on Friday. Hopefully I get a chance before the madness begins later.

This is another article about Greenwalt's exit (looks like it was written before the HR article), but I liked these little excerpts:

Quote:
If CBS’s upcoming new series ‘Moonlight’ had anything going for it, it was that the vampire-centered show had former ‘Angel’ cocreator, David Greenwalt on board. This added to recent cast addition of ‘Veronica Mars’ star Jason Dohring gave many of us two reasons to consider checking out this series when it premieres this fall.
Quote:
To be honest, Greenwalt’s involvement (added to my secret crush on Jason Dohring) was the only reason I had any interest in the series to begin with.

Just found this from Ausiello, posted yesterday:

Quote:
4.18pm: We interrupt this press tour session for BREAKING NEWS on David Greenwalt's sudden exit as show-runner of CBS' Moonlight: Sources just confirmed to me that the ex-Angel auteur bolted for medical reasons. Specifically, exhaustion.

Thanks for the new thread Jenn, it looks great.

And it looks like we weren't the only ones jumping on for Jason mainly, I like those little excerpts as well, thanks for the article Sam.

I hope things are going ok for him.

According to another announcement from E! The showrunner position will be offered to Chip Johannessen, whose most recent work from the looks of it was Surface but has worked on Dark Angel, Milllineum and X Files in the past,

More on Moonlight

I can't say I was ever a fan of any of those shows, but they seem to be well-liked and well-respected genre shows, so maybe this will also be a good fit? I hope so. Assuming he takes the job, of course.

Thanks for the thread Jen! Aww, just read the Sci-Fi article but have to say, I giggled at this bit:

Quote:
This guy has a lot of fun killing people. So I think that's what I connect to.
Because on first read I thought he meant he could relate to him because of how much fun he has killing people

I'm sad Greenwalt had to leave I hope whoever takes over does a good job.. but gah, I was happier with someone I already knew being in charge!

There's a brief write-up of the panel here. Nothing really new or exciting. One little Jason tidbit:

Quote:
Dohring: Plays the oldest vampire on the show so far. "I get to work with beautiful women, what more can I ask for?"
