It's done. CBS had their upfronts today and it wasn't on the line-up. Same goes with the CW (or whatever they were thinking of doing on Sundays from some other Media group.)

Which is really sad since I liked Josef and the prospect of getting to know more about him in S2.

I was too Roz. And wow, how fast the tides changed on this decision. Everything looked good until a few days before Upfronts.

I don't think I've never thought about either possibility, but it just happens to be how I think about TV.

However, let's not forget there is at least one more chance to see Josef (before DVDs or whatever else may happen.)

He tied in really well, I think. I'm actually really impressed at how well he and the recurring guest stars were used this week.

It was great for the VM fans to get the Hearst reference and then all of the other things, too.

But you know I'm also glad Josef was beginning to really get utilized. Of course now we'll never know how him and Simone would have worked out. I could have gotten invested in them if the storyline had panned out. As much as Josef would like to protest most of the time, deep down he seems to be drawn to humans as well.

Julie--you're right. I think that there would have been some great stuff with Simone and Josef--ways to explore how his willing to change his rules for something he really wants.

Funny, early on I wouldn't have cared as much about ML being gone (Never built up a strong emotional investment) but now it seems like they were trying to further the Josef storyline for next season. And of course now it's gone.

Just as we got more stuff on Josef the show is gone. Which is sad because I liked Josef as a character.

I wonder if Jason will have any bts stuff with ML on his upcoming site? Some of the questions in that survey were kind of leaning to that possibilty.
