Given that Jason is only going to be in Chicago on Saturday and it's not like I know others going to that con, it doesn't really make sense to sort of fly in and out for the gala.

I mean, I do enjoy dressing up, but you know Jason will be swamped by people on Saturday, since he's there for such a brief time and there are probably a ton of ML only fans that have never met him, so they'll be desperate to meet him, which is understandable!

Anita--I'm choosing football and time with a friend over Jason, yeah. It's cheaper for me, to be honest. Plus, you know I'm happier at events where I don't have to pay to talk to Jason (not that I haven't.)

Nikki's from Chicago, but she's a Moonlight fan I met though LJ and then she was out here for Paley and she'd wanted to come to England.

I'd love to go but it's such late notice for me and I have to put in vacation time a month prior

But I can't wait for the recaps.

I suppose that means we need to work on Jenn now if we want anyone to get a good recap. I'm sure that someone else we know will go, though.

You work on Saturdays?

I know Nikki had that two-day pass for $100, but I wonder if she'll do a discounted Saturday only pass for those that don't necessarily plan to be there for two days?

She told me something about Saturday being $75, but that was earlier. I don't know what she's going to do with just a single day pass.

Eek, I've been busy the last few days....but yes, I work at MRDd facility which needs people there 24/7 so I work every other weekend.

Just read this on the VM lj and just wanted to stop by to say yay!

I was so sad about the cancellation of Moonlight so here's hoping that this one sticks. Can't wait to see his new show!
