I read in an interview that Jason was hoping to spend Christmas/New Year in Australia with his Moonlight co-star. Does anyone know if that came about?

I think unless a fellow fangirl bumps into him or its mentioned in the media we don't really know, but I've been keeping my eyes peeled for him this last week.

If I looked at the information correctly, the con is being put on for fan interaction, not so much as a chance to meet the cast or crew. It might change, but that's something to consider.

Yes, it's a fan convention but invites were put out to everyone involved. And I know the timing is set to accomodate them. I think so far they've only received confirmation from some of the writers. But yes, it's more or less to interact with other fans and if someone shows up that's a bonus, but it's certainly not definite that they will at this point.
I just thought it was funny that I was just hoping there was to be a ML one at some point and here's one being planned.

I've always loved cons as well. They certainly can be addicting too. And I always loved meeting the other fans. It feels great to be with some like minded people who share the same passion.

Does anyone think the cast will make another appearance at Comic Con?

I do love cons--I haven't been to too many, but enough.

CC--Julie, I'm worried about the Writers' Strike and the potential SAG strike. I can't really see there being TV shows to talk about at CC without new episodes airing, you know?

You're right Roz, I didn't even think to consider that. The strike really does affect so many things down the line. Sigh...

As for the ML con, I was planning on really trying to go regardless of cast being there or not. It was the perfect chance to meet other fans and see LA again but the more I think about it, I really am too impulsive about these things and I really need to think this one out. May is definitely not the best time for me and I'll have so much going on at that time. But hopefully something will come up later on

My hubby and I were going to buy our passes for Comic-con in a couple weeks and then I thought "what the heck are they going to promote???" I'm not sure what we're going to do now.

Me too! It's on my to-do-list along with attend Sundance Film Festival.
Speaking of which does anyone know if Jason is going this year since he's gone in previous years right?

Angela, I'm not sure about Sundance but I wouldn't be suprised. I just wonder how the strike will even affect events like that?
