HEE! If any one from VM went to Comic Con as a fan, I'd think it would be KB as she's already mentioned she loves to take pictures with Chewbacca and all the people dressed up for it! I don't really see it being Jason's scene.

Great recap, Mandy.

I know Jason really loved that Vader from NYC Comic Con, but I don't know. He did have fun with that pretend light saber at BoB.

Hee...I don't know if you missed the beginning, but Jason didn't really want to do the light saber thing...we just were able to convince him, especially since Francis really wanted him to do it! Francis was unable to convince him to wear a robe though and I think he was willing to cut his losses since Francis probably figured if he tried to insist on the robe, that Jason just wouldn't do it.

I do think Jason did have a little fun at least, after he was coerced into it! HEE.

Haha!! I really don't think he wanted to do it, but Francis really didn't give him a choice

I got the feeling that it was more like, OK, I'll do it, but only if you let me get back to my hotel for sleep afterwards. I definitely got the feeling that was his cue to leave after entertaining us all!

Yeah, you could see Jason mentally weighing his options!

He probably figured it would be quicker to just do it as it would take longer to convince Francis he wanted to go back to the hotel and sleep before his flight, especially since Francis would be like, 'F- it, you can sleep on the plane!'

Jason did end up enjoying it a little, especially when faced with Francis having so much fun with it and telling Jason he had to take it seriously!

Seriously...if we had a fake Yoda there as well...I would have that picture hanging somewhere! I have a mini-Yoda at my desk at work, but I haven't ever seen a life-size Yoda.

I know that Jason's going to be in Toronto on July 11 and I was wondering if anyone here is going or knows someone that is? I'd like to know why Jason isn't doing anything new. He's too talented an actor to just float around on TV guest spots. I had such high hopes for him after VM but he doesn't seem like much of a go-getter. Unfortunately.

Fleurdelune - He was just on Moonlight on CBS and was one of the 4 main cast members. The show just did not get renewed for next fall, but he got that job, almost right after Veronica Mars was canceled, so I'm not sure what guest spots you mean or why you think he's 'not much of a go getter'? Are you confusing him with someone else?

He went from being one of the main characters on Veronica Mars on The CW, that averaged around 3 million viewers to one of the main characters on Moonlight, on CBS, that averaged around 7.5 - 8 million viewers, which is a lot more exposure than he got on The CW or UPN. To me, that looks like he's doing all the right things.

I'm sure we will hear something soon from him, regarding what he's doing next, but I think he's taking his time to make sure he's choosing the right role, rather than just jumping into something. Jason doesn't need to take any role to pay the bills, so whether he does do a guest/recurring role or he gets another series regular spot, it will definitely be something where he feels it would be a good opportunity for him, either from an acting standpoint or from a career standpoint.

Anita--I saw that he wasn't too happy to do it first, but I'm sure glad Francis got him to play along for a bit.

Fleur--I think someone from LJ is going, but not anyone from here.

Given how Moonlight didn't get renewed at the end of the season, I think he's going to look for what he can right now. I know he had meetings scheduled (or at least he was talking about them) at the con last month.

I know!! That's pretty much one of the best pictures ever and like I said, I think only Yoda could have made it better!

Hmm..maybe I can Photo Shop Yoda into that picture?

There'll be news soon, I'm sure of it. And like Anita says, he's not going to take the first thing that comes along as he wants something that's going to progress his career, and I don't blame him. He's had a lot more exposure since being on ML, so that should put him in good stead for some really meaty roles
