Less than a month now

Posting this here 'cause Jason was involved with Invisible Children too:

(for people who don't know yet or forgot):

Dropping by to tell about the fan donation project we're setting up at the Kristen board. The charity is most likely Invisible Children.

We were making a fanbook for Kristen, which some of us will personally give to her at the London convention Breakout Beyond.

We wanted to also do something for one of the charities Kristen is engaged in. So we decided to also set up a charity project. Here's the details:

Seperate from the book, we are also going to be making a donation to a charity that Kristen supports, which we will then inform her of at the convention. We would really love any and all contributions from you guys, whether you're participating in the book or not! The bigger the donation we can make, the better.

All donations can be made to the Paypal account we have created for this project. To donate, you must set up a Paypal account, and send your donation to kbfanproject@googlemail.com. All payments through Paypal are 100% secure, and your bank details are not seen by anyone.

The payments we recieve will then be transferred to the charity we choose, and we will give Kristen a reciept of this transaction, along with the names of everyone who has contributed!

You can donate whatever amount you like, anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.

Just a quick reminder to those who aren't able to go to Breakout Beyond, but would like me to pass on a letter or small gift to Jason. There's still time to do it, so if you're interested, PM me and I'll let you know the mailing address to use.

One correction to Andrea's post: please send letters to jdgiftproject (at) gmail.com digitally and not in the physical form to Andrea. There's enough room in the book and I wouldn't like to give a half empty book (and have a bag of letters), or have to glue in all sorts of stuff on the friday of the con.

Can't wait to see it.

ETA: I'm going to pm everyone (the FF people first, then I'll go and do the LJ version) with a general reminder that deadline is the 25th. Feel freet o ignore that reminder if you already let me know when it's coming

One other thing: I'll reply to everything that I get at jdgiftproject (at) gmail. If you sent some stuff and don't have an email from me in a few days, just stalk me here or on LJ and ask if I got your contribution to the book.

we have about 5 entries right now.

Doing the LJ pm tonight, hopefully that will get us some more stuff.
