OMG, three YEARS?!! I didn't expect an answer within two weeks (or even two months), but it would be hilarious that I would've met him two times in between that (just ignoring the fact that we don't know for sure if he will be at BBM next year), before he gets to my letter

I hope he was joking on the three years part. I'm just trying to figure out when I'll get the thanks for that last birthday card. If it's anything like last year, it should be in the next six weeks.

Let us know when you get it!

I think I may have send mine in the same month as you did then.

Yeah he mentioned that he had only gotten through half when I thanked him for writing back to me during the first photo session. He seemed genuinely pleased that I had received it and that he had actually written back Oh how awesome is this guy! It took him 6 months to reply to one of my letters but I'm not complaining since it made my day/week/month/year lol, that he even wrote back! Plus it's such an awesome surprise since you don't expect it!

Wow...I guess I shouldn't expect anything back from him until 2011, eh?

I still think it's great that Jason wants to take the time to write them himself. So rare these days for an actor.

HEE! I think he was exaggerating a tad! (Hopefully!)

Julie, it's really great that he does take the time to write back, but man it must be tiring. I know the one letter I have is handwritten, so it's not even that he's got a form letter to sign.

I wonder how long he can keep doing the handwritten personal reply thing

I've heard of a few others getting typed letters, so maybe it just depends on whether it's a quick note or a long reply? It could also be as simple as sometimes he has time to sit down and write out a longer response and other times he only has time to type something out and sign it. While a hand written note is fantastic, a typed one from him is also way better than no response at all! From the sound of it, he gets a ton of fan mail though, so yeah, I definitely think it's really cool that he replies himself.

Haha!! Yeah I remember him telling us about the three year turnaround Anita, but he did laugh, so I guess it was a 'slight' exaggeration!! I think it usually takes him anything from 3 to 9 months.

The two letters I have from him are both handwritten, which I love because it makes it so much more personal, so I hope he continues to do that for as long as he can. I mean at the rate his fan mail is increasing, I doubt he'll be capable of personally responding to everyone, especially if his career takes off in the way we want it to.

I know that a few of my friends had typed letters around the time I had mine back hand-written, but I don't know how he determined which ones to respond to with in which way.

I'm pretty sure Fleur's was handwritten as well.

But yeah, I imagine when his career really takes off it will be all that much harder.

What does everyone think about this?

Bell, Thomas Orbit VM Movie

It's weird because it was just the other day that I was thinking about this when I was looking for info on RT's projects. I was thinking that everytime a beloved show gets cancelled movie talk starts up in someway and eventually dies off. (Buffy, etc. )

And then I read this. I'll believe it when I see it though.
