Jason Dohring - Body Politic: New show, new thread.

According to this article, Jason has been cast in a new show.

I don't think I've seen anything else about the pilot, but here's hoping.

"Body Politic," from CBS Par, is a look at Washington politics through the eyes of optimistic up-and-coming staffers.

Kelly will play an all-American girl who leaves her life in Michigan after the death of her mother and heads to D.C., where her long-lost dad, Sen. Webster (Tim Matheson), has just been appointed Attorney General, and takes a job on his staff.

Dohring will play a reporter with the Washington Post.

Can't wait to see more info about this. And Jason as a reporter definitely has me intrigued.

I've only seen FNL a few times so I'm not too familiar with Minka.

She plays Lyla, who while not my favorite character, is pretty and sweet. I think it'll be good for Jason to play against her.

Yeah, I can get behind this show, to be sure.

But I guess we'll have to wait for the pilot to be shot before we know much more.

YAY!!! I'm trying not get too excited about this show until it's definitely picked up to series, but I really like the sound of it and Jason's role in it, even better than Washingtonienne.

I do wish it was still SJP and on HBO, but the CW knows and loves Jason, so hopefully that will bode well for things to come!

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much as well. But I love the fact that Jason seems to have landed one of the leads for a chance.

I'm trying not to get too excited at this stage, but I do have a good feeling about this one.

I love the sound of Jason's role and I think I prefer the premise of this show compared to 'Washingtonienne'

I'm trying to remain neutral about this until I hear the CW has actually picked it up for the Fall Season. However, I'm going to be optimistic about it and cross my fingers that it will get picked up.

According to a friend, she's read the script and she says the part is perfect for Jason, so that's a plus!
