Thanks for the count, Jenn.

I'm sure when we get more stuff about the show, we'll be swinging again. I mean, it is two weeks until some of us get to see the Pilot, and we can more easily post about it here than the Moonlight board.

That's what I was thinking, Roz.

I'm pretty proud of the board. This time last year..it was just barely getting by and now it's doing awesome. August was a slow month for alot of boards it seemed.

I would agree since 98% of the people I know that are intending to watch Moonlight are just doing it for Jason. Granted, maybe that's a reflection of the people that I know, but still!

Fangirls are nothing if not dedicated. Hopefully the publicity that I keep hearing about will get more people interested.

Yeah, I usually watch at least a little of Letterman and Craig Ferguson when I get home and I usually see two or three Moonlight promos a night, so they're definitely pimping it. They also gave it a great time slot, in between Ghost Whisperer and Numb3rs

I don't usually talk about my shows at work, every now and then but one of my co-workers actually brought up the Moonlight promos (no pimpage from me) and how she couldn't wait to see it. Of course she thought it was starting this week LOL. I told her no, she'd have to wait a little longer than that LOL

So it was nice to see a non Jason fan (and one who's usually not online) show some interest in the show. I hope that's a good indication of the general viewing audience in response to the promos.

We definitely need a lot of new fans watching Moonlight if we want to hold our own with Ghost Whisperer and Numb3rs. Looking at the Nielsen ratings, both shows average around 10.5 million viewers each and their re-runs average around 3.5 million+ viewers from what I was able to find.

As for not talking about my shows at work..we talk about shows a lot, but my old employees in Denver used to ask if they would 'exceed expectations' at the end of the year, if they watched VM.

I had to tell them that it merely would show me that they had taste, but wouldn't guarantee anyone an 'exceeds' or a raise. LOL.

Jenn--we're almost three times the required number each month, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Oh..I'm sooo not worried about getting the required number! It's that the total was a 1000 lower than July!

Trust me..I'm not worried about closing or anything

I think the amount just shocked me a bit.

LOL! Yeah, I am a little worried about getting the numbers required as well as doing better in the demos than Close to Home pulled which had pretty good overall numbers. And Joel Silvers latest comments have me worried about the demos going down in that aspect LOL. Hopefully not.

As for talking about my shows, I used to so much that I think I've had to tone myself down. So it was nice to see someone else bring up Moonlight without me having to do so.

Thanks for the post count Jenn. I agree that the Moonlight board plus our excitement over JD getting the role drumming up more traffic than usual had some effects on the count. But hopefully once the season starts both boards will really thrive
