I'm sure the writers will have learned from their mistakes with Bela.

The character of Bela didn't work out as well as she should've in Eric estimation and he takes responsibility for it. He believes they did a disservice to Lauren Cohan, who is a great actress, and, if they were to do it again, they'd have made her part of the mythology more.

As comforting as it is that he's acknowledging that Bela didn't work, I really don't think he has fully grasped the "why" she didn't do so.
Her not being involved in the mythology more, at least for me, was the least of her problems!!!

no probs for the new thread, glad y'all like the title and its no secret the way I feel about Bela, the hate must go on.

Nella dude the redundancy of Bela left me exhausted, I started to loose it, like c'mon it must get better then this, but that was as good as it gets

Gay, Exactly my first thought, like she has a hella resemblance to Bela, whats up with that? coincidence... the lookalike aspect has already given me an uncertain feeling but once again I will keep an open mind until its am proven other wise.

Since the new addition is old news you guys pretty much already know about her I was being cautious just in case, I have to wonder If EK is secretly trying to replace Bela, he really liked her hopefully its not a do over, and not another in your face situation but gradually unfolds, making sense this time course and please don’t have an accent

I have to agree, the mythology thing hardly crossed my mind, her overall displacement and lack of substance put the nail in her coffin, its very puzzling that EK does not get it, we never fully understood what the writers were trying to imply without providing hints, elaboration, and no proof or backing as how Bela was portrayed, a great thief was enough ammunition to take it to another level, the writers just showed total disregard for Bela character, as much as I hate her, I did not want to in the beginning but they left me no other choice, how could anyone accept the obvious jumbled plots, the complexity of Bela gave me a migraine it’s actually a shame, she could have made a great rivalry, Lauren could have pulled it off if given the proper direction.
