2)Scarecrow



After Dean and Sam have a huge fight, Sam leaves and Dean continues on the hunt. After the hunt takes a turn for the worse and Dean is chosen to be a sacrifice to a scarecrow, Sam returns to Dean's rescue.

3)Faith



After Dean gets injured on a hunt and his time is running out quickly, he asks Sam if he is going to let him die in peace, and Sam replies that he is not going to let Dean die period.


4)The Benders




When Sam goes missing, Dean searches frantically to find his brother. Finally, Dean finds Sam locked in cage and can't help but exclaim thats its great to see him.

5)Salvation


When Sam sees the demon that killed Jessica and their mother still in the burning home, Sam tries to run in but Dean won't let him. Afterword, Sam says he does not care if he sacrifices himself, and Dean immediately replies that he does.

6)Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things



After weeks of Dean keeping his feelings about his father's death to himself, Dean finally opens up to Sam about how he feels and how hard it is for him.

7)Croatoan



When it was assumed that Sam had been infected by a virus and would soon become violent, instead of killing his brother Dean decides to stay behind and is willing to sacrifice himself so he could stay with Sam for their potential final moments.


8)All Hell Breaks Lose Pt 1



When Sam is stabbed and betrayed by a fellow psychic, Dean talks to Sammy ,offers him comforting words and calls out his name as Sammy eventually dies in Dean's arms.

9)All Hell Breaks Lose Pt 2


After Dean makes a deal to bring Sam back to life but sells his soull in return, Dean comes back to a fully alive Sam-and out of happiness and relief- Dean pulls Sam into an embrace.

10)All Hell Breaks Lose Pt 2




While Sam was upset that Dean made that deal, he tells Dean that he would do anything for him and no matter what he is going to get him out of his deal because it was about time he saved his life.


11) Fresh Blood




When Dean claimed that he was not scared about going to hell and that Sam did not know him, Sam refuted that statement by giving an emotional speech claiming he did know him because he has looked up to him since he was child and knows exactly when Dean is scared. He concluded by asking him to stop pretending and to be his brother again.

12) Fresh Blood



In this bittersweet moment Dean realizes if he is not around after his deal comes due, he would need to teach Sam some things before he dies. So Dean teaches Sam how to fix his beloved impala and we watch Sam first being happy that he is he is being taught but then when he finds out why, his happiness soon fades.

13)A Very Supernatural Christmas



In this flashback we discover that Dean's necklace which he had worn since episode 1 was actually given to him by Sam as a Christmas gift when he was the only one who told him the truth.


14)Mystery Spot



After Sam had watched Dean die many times and had to live without Dean for six months thanks to the Trickster, Sam reunites with Dean and gives him a bone crushing hug.


15)No Rest For The Wicked




In Dean's final moments, Sam yells that he is not going to let Dean go to hell, but Dean demands that he is. He proceeds to tell Sam to remember what he has taught him while they both get emotional.

16) Lazarus Rising



When Dean returns after a long four months in hell, Sam first assumes Dean is not real; But when Bobby and Dean convince him that it's really Dean, he immediately hugs Dean and hold each other for a long time.

17) Lazarus Rising



In this moment Sam gives back Dean's beloved amulet which Sam had kept and worn while Dean was in hell.

18) Heaven and Hell


Dean finally opens up to Sam about Hell and all the horrors he encountered there.

19) Lucifer Rising



After Sam and Dean had a huge fight that could have changed their relationship forever, Dean decides to call Sam in an effort to reach him says that they are family and nothing is going to change that.

20) Lucifer Rising



After Sam makes a mistake and lets Lucifer out of his cage, Dean tries to get Sam to leave but instead after everything they just grab each other and watch the horror happening together.

#21: Point Of No Return




Dean was defeated and was willing to say yes to Michael until Sam tells him he is taking him with them to save Adam and believes Dean will make the right call and say no. When Dean asked him why, he replied "Because you're still my big brother."

#22: Point of No Return:



After Zachariah curses both Adam and Sam in an effort to get Dean to say yes, Dean was about to say yes until he looked over to his brother, looked into his eyes, and gave him an encouraging wink. He proved his brother right by instead of saying yes, he tricked Zach and then killed him.

#23: Point Of No Return:


In the car after the drama that just passed, Sam asks Dean why he did not say yes. Dean replies that he looked over to him and just could not let him down. He later apologizes to Sam, and proclaims that they will screw destiny and do things their own way to Sam's pleasure.

#24: Swan Song




Throughout the episode there were montages of Sam and Dean's life in the impala. It showed their childhood in the impala with Sam's army men to the boys carving their names, and it also showed their adult life in the impala with shots of the boys just look peaceful with each other looking at the stars... without saying a word.
