The reason why she didn't come back was because Sam was afraid of Sarah getting harmed in the future. I understand from a story line point of view. However, we have seen through out the seasons of new woman being introduced and being put in harms way. Im not sure how they would tie in the story with her 8 seasons later but it would be quit interesting.

^i guess just the whole set up seemed like she was a character that would be referenced or brought back on the show (i think even Jared said this in an interview is saw). He did promise to visit her..i'd like to think that happened off screen

I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner but I'm glad I did stop by because I did NOT know about that petition and it is now going into the OP. (As well as her twitter.

) Second, I love this reaction to their relationship because I totally feel the same. She was so much more than a pretty face. Her experiences with her mother resonated with him and painted her with this sweet vulnerability that reminded me of Sam back then, which I suppose was the point. And when she tried to assert her independence, it didn't come off as rude or abrasive like some of Sam's later lady friends. Sarah was a class act all the way.

BTW, do you want to be added to the Fan list? I don't think I have you on there.

More Sam/Sarah fans are always welcome even if I visit this thread infrequently.

It needs to be said that Sarah is way better than the Vet Amelia. It would've been perfect if the person Sam reconnected with during his year off was Sarah. That would give his side more weight, especially since she seems to be a universally liked character for Sam. As of now, even the Sam girls would probably be on Dean's side in him picking the "Angry Lady" over his brother.
