Reasons Why We Love Her
Because she saved our boys!
Because Sam trusts her.
Because She didn't back down from Dean.
Because the show could use a little blonde ambition.
Because once upon a time she was a witch and, we're okay with that.
Because she survived hell.
Because she may be a bitch; but she is one tough bitch.
Because she thinks french fries taste like 'fried crack'.
Because when she talks? We listen.
Because she kicks some serious ass.
Because her wardrobe is hot!
Because hello, scary fighting skills!
Because "I'm the girl who just saved your ass".
Because Rubies are precious and so is she.
Because she's causing trouble and taking names.
Because she's the little fallen angel on Sam's shoulder.
Because she wants to help Sam get ready for the war.
Because by putting her life on the line, she proved that she was on the boy's side.
Because as the street lights fluttered so did our hearts.
Because Dean 'gets' her now.
Because she helped fix the gun!
Because "Don't call me Bitch".
Because she isn't outwardly swooning over our boys, she can control herself.
Because she fought her way out of hell when not every demon could.
Because Ruby isn't like the other demons, she remembers being human.
Because she's our 'black eyed' girl.

I love this one. I think its such an interesting twist on Ruby's character. Actually, I think the whole demons were once humans thing is an awesome twist fullstop.

I loved the scene with Dean. I love that she is 'different'. And, I totally felt for her when she said "I wish I was like them. But, I'm not." You could tell that THAT is the moment where Dean understood her.

part of me wonders if she was lying to Dean but either way I felt the sincerity and I felt for her.

I don't think she was lying, she has nothing to gain from lying, & i think she knows that, if Dean found out that she was lying, than she should make sure that she never goes near the winchester's again.... & as i said before, i think she knows and understands that

Maybe not, though the idea will probably stay in the back of my mind simply because Kripke can throw curveballs at us. Aside from that though, her comment about remembering what it was like to be human really fit well with the way she acted during the last episode. We saw her usual tough persona, but then we also saw her vulnerable, ashamed, and scared. It was a good ep for her

I really hope she isn't lying cause i fell for it hook line and sinker I loved it! I thought Katie was awesome and her acting was really really good! Alot of ppl have complained that she's too "popstar" to pull off Ruby's character but i think this eppie proved them wrong!

And it always made me mad when people were ragging on her because she had blonde hair. Demons can't have blonde hair! please. And I agree I think she stepped up her game and started earning points with people from this episode.
