Yeah, for me too
Had a wonderful evening out (which is why I don't get to watch tonight's episode). Had dinner with our college boy, saw the play Young Frankenstein & enjoyed time with our child.

It's very frustrating.

Chris, sounds like a wonderful evening. I hope you have fun.

It's working much better tonight
Thanks, Bee. Had a great time with 2 of my guys last night. Just tired today because I had to work with little sleep from getting in so late.

I had a boring night, we never get any kids, so I stayed in and watched Dancing with the Stars. Didn't help that it was pouring rain either, even if we still got kids I doubt they would have showed up in that mess.

We haven't had rain other than a quick sprinkle once or twice in almost 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to the cooler weather this weekend though. Come on 70s

The joys of tropical weather BUT the weatherman lied. Only the low 80s in the day, which makes it kind of stuffy without AC in the house, but really nice at night at 68, but it's a pain to open & close all the windows a couple of times a day.

Not the Saturday I had planned. We actually slept in to almost 10am (thats really really late for my husband), but then instead of painting my kitchen ceiling as planned, had to take a sick son to the clinic & all that goes with that. Poor baby, he may be 20, but when he's sick momma is definitely needed Just a sinus infection.
Then after my husband comes home from hunting, we are off an hour south to pick up a gun cabinet. Yeah, the 2 hr drive & $40 was worth it. He's been like a kid in a candy shop lately with his firearms.

Men, no matter the age don't handle being sick well. It's a darn good thing it was decided woman would have the babies. I really don't think men could handle it.

$40 for the gun cabinet? That's an awesome deal! Do you guys have regulations on what kind of cabinets you can have? Here they must lock (of course) and completely sealed in, like you can't have glass or anything, either all metal or wood.

nope, no regulations. This is made of wood, with glass doors, but all doors do lock so when the grandkids or friends' kids come over it is secured. It was a great deal in really good shape.

Today's one of those days I wanna go home, grab my cat, lock us in the bedroom and watch movies and ignore anyone that resembles a human. So tired of drama filled hypocritical people.

Sounds like the one my dad use to have before the regulations came in...we ended up getting a closed one for the guns, and morphing the wood/glass one to a like an shelf for nick nacks etc. It was too pretty to throw out.

Jen A lot of people are having a bad day after last night's election.

We all have days like that hope today was better

I'm not all that thrilled where my husband decided to put the cabinet in my living room, but it's not the worst place it could be. Picking battles
