Had a great evening out. We went to Tampa to a delicious Cuban restaurant then went & saw the show "On Your Feet". It's Gloria Estefan's life put to a show with her music. Very touching, the actors did a great job & loved, loved her music. Really brought back some good memories & showed me just how old I'm getting

We got some snow. I am not pleased. Why can't winter just stay away.

There is never a good time for snow. Looks like this week and next week will be cold. But I'm hoping it ends after that, I don't don't expect +20 anymore, but near zero would be nice.

Mine was slow, just stayed at home and took care of the animals.

I can't even imagine. I'm loving the 60-70 degree weather But by Wed/Thurs it will be back up in the 80s. It's why we get so sick this time of year because of the constant change of weather.

Hope everyone had a safe Halloween. It's so different without the kids around. Hubby & I both had it off so we went to The Holy Land Experience in Orlando. It's a "theme park" per say, with live shows that were entertaining, educational stuff, and historical stuff. The weather perfect too Then after dealing with the big city traffic home, we ate some leftovers & watched the version of "IT" made for TV back in like 1990s. No trick or treaters since we live on a busy highway so all was quiet.

We got two trick or treaters this year! but they were the neighbours kids, so we knew they were coming. but still it was nice to have kids trick or treating.

I've seen the tv version of IT many many times. It's one of my moms favorite movies. Haven't seen the new version yet though.

The new version is part one of two... Rather than intertwining both adult lives & kid memories like the book & tv movie, they made this first one just about their childhood lives. The clown is even more creepy.


I did my 3-mile walk around the lake today for a fundraiser (thanks again Quin ) then went & made an appearance at my husband's job's family day (free food was worth it ). I got a blister on the bottom of my foot so my shoes either aren't so great for lots of walking or my socks were too thin. Then we chilled & watched Valerian & the city of a thousand planets. Pretty good for a sci-fi/fantasy movie. Lots of plot holes, but good entertainment

Sounds like you had a busy weekend.

I went for quite a tumble today and hurt my arm some how. And it is throbbing! I really hope nothing is cracked or broken, hopefully some pulled muscles if anything. But my posting will not be much tonight, going to ice it...or heat it...pop some meds and head to bed. Hopefully it will feel better tomorrow, if not, I guess it's a trip to the doctors.
