OMG. That video is awesome. Jared is amazing playing dar, evil Sam. You'd hate him for sure; but you can't help but love him, too. His state of mind in S4 was flawed, too flawed that he ended up hurting himself and Dean, too.

I remember, first time I sat mys siter down to watch the show, I was very into it by that time, the first thing I asked was how much of his Gimlore Girls alter ego she though Jared brought into Sam, and she said none. I was vwery happy by that because sometimes I can get carried away in fangirlyness and not be totally objective so my sister confirming that for me was very reassuring. It's awesome to see how far and versatile Jared has become over the years!!!

I'm super, SUPER late in wishing him a happy birthday here on the forum but I did see that imdb had his picture up for his birthday too.

And I've only seen a few episodes of GG but Jared's DEFINITELY grown as an actor, you can even tell through the seasons of SPN that's Jared's just gotten better and better.

i'm quite proud of Jared too, like you guys said you can really see his progression from GG to SPN, and within the seasons of SPN itself, you can definitely see his growth as an actor.

And I think the fact that he has chosen to play them so differently shows exactly how good he is. There is nothing in Sam that reminds me of Dean Forester and there were oportunities for that in the pilot and in some of the brotherly moments too. So GO Jared I say!!

The fact that he wanted to still do evil!Sam or angsty Sam means that he wants to challenge himself more.

Really really great vid! But I have to disagree here. I would never call Sam evil! Dark and messed up ok but he only killed demons and none innocent person. Sure he made big mistakes (drinking that demon blood, for example) but he never was evil! He did all of this to save the world - of course he didn´t always took the right path but deep inside him, he is still Sammy!

I don't think anyone is calling Sam evil. We're just talking about how Jared likes to play Evil!Sam (like in BUaBS) and he's been saying he's been wanting to delve into the even darker/eviler sides of Sam for years now.

And as Fla said, the fact that he does like to spread his wings and try something as diverse and complicated as playing Evil (which he does so good) shows that he's not afraid to chalage himself and that's what makes him a good actor.

no one's calling our Sammy evil in here. We just love Jared playing evil!Sam in BUaBS. He's perfect! And if someone's dissing Sam too much you can be sure, I'm here to battle it out with you.
