Would he be allowed to return? I thought he was on the outs with the producers and that is why he is not coming back. I don't really know what happened between them though.

I don't know what happened between them specifically, I've heard that there was a problem with how Mark's character got killed off there was apparently a disagreement over how that was handled by the production/writers but like I said I don't know the specifics, I just know that things didn't apparently end well between him and the current producers. But I don't think he has a ban or anything that would prevent him from coming back, I think if someone new was to take over or maybe the producer he had a problem with (if it was a specific one) was to leave then he might be able to be convinced to return.

Cool!! I am glad that there is hope that he may return at some point. I love Crowley and I miss him on the show.
