^ I know! I love that we didn't have another super angsty ending scene. I wouldn't be able to take it whether or not we're going into a hiatus right now. I was still waiting for a hug but I was so glad that he asked Sam to drive!

my thoughts exactly! and dean asking sam to drive is basically the winchester equivalent to 'i love you' (same thing as in wendigo) and this time with the added "i'm trying with the trust thing"

I agree and that was the best thing too, not so much an angsty ending and the giving of the keys which is just because it shows the trust and love
