Most of the time that works, but there've been times where I've put a smaller one on and it stretches too much. It all really depends what the wp is.

Yeah, I think it mostly depends on the quality of the pictures.
It shoudl never be a problem to set a 1024x768 wp at a 800x600 screen. But the other way 'round could make the wallpaper look to blury or ... simple streched.

I don't have those yet and I love 'em, so I'll dl them ... I mostly use two different fonts (Signature and Tahoma) and I feel like I definitely need to change that

well about crediting . all you need to do is put it in your info page . and the size is a bit to big . i suggest you join http://imageshack.us/ . they allow bigger files [up to 1mb i think]
