Though I would assume that Ellen would be a tad more active and badass than Deanna!

Again though, no actual complaints about the character herself, and also she's related to the boys, plus she died (by her husband's hand no less) and those again give her a bit of a pass, however.... Mary's mother also a bit of an Ellen wannabe (albeit different side of Ellen than Pamela but still).
I just wish they'd just bring back the original...

Yeah!
They really have to bring Ellen back, these characters you mentioned were so much worst characters that Ellen.

I wouldn't call them worse (as I said I liked them well enough).

I liked them too.
But IMO Ellen is much more intersting character then the outhers.

Well to be fair, we did get to see more of Ellen so we do have a more well rounded opinion on her, but I agree, she just felt much more layred and interesting.
Plus as I said, she was the original! And nothing really beats the original, right?

She was the first Badass Mama!Hunter on the show and thar carries weight!
Even if Deanna is related to the boys, Ellen will always be just a smidgen awesomer!!!

And irony of ironies, I was reading Sam's blog the other day, said she doesn't have any work lined up now, and hasn't for a while...
I guess maybe she might have changed her mind about turning down SPN when they were still offering her a job, because I'm sure some work would have been better than none... I hope, if they aske her again, she'll go for it without overthinking so much about it. I just pray that TPTB still have some plans to bring Ellen back. Judging by Pamela and Deanna though I have a feeling they are craving for Ellen type characters, so why not bring the prototype back?

Yeah!Why not?

If she dont have work too for now and they were asking her to be back in the past but she didnt do it, maybe now she can.
Its stupid she never be on the show again, we didnt know what she is doing were she is, so would be nice they ask her at least one more time if she want to be on one episode to adresss that.

I find it very likely that by now TPTB might have just stopped asking her seeing as she wasn't very co-operative in the summer.

I don't blame them, I just wish they'd reconsider....
As I said I doubt Sam would turn down a job at this point, if she's complaining about not working....

But again, to play devil's advocate, I would also doubt TPTB wouyld ask her now after her constant initial refusal to go back.

We can go round in circles here.... the best we can hope for is for things to just ger resolved....
