So happy to have the show back! Dean? Omg! Looking Hot as usual! Digging up the grave? Omg! Crazy!! Random guy? Love the new opening! Aww…cute dog! Sam! Baby! Omg…Dean and Sam back together! Poor Castiel! What? Sam doesn’t hunt anymore? Sam can’t quit!! Sam didn’t look for Dean! I can’t believe it! Dean is not the same! Dean playing the messages from Kevin! Kevin’s crazy messages! Dean noting that Sam couldn’t answer the phone…even though he was their responsibility. They are going to work together! Dog in the car? Poor Sam! flashbacks? Dean killing the guy in the woods! Crazy! I hate that Sam quit! No Sam! No more love interests! Sam broke the rules! aww…the dog was so cute! Dean talking about purgatory! And the flashbacks! The suits are back!! she got over him quick! Omg!!! Crazy!! Aw…Sam misses his dog! so sad!!! Dean eating…he’s so happy! Good job Sam! A Church! Kevin! Flashbacks…Crowley! Demons? Oh Crowley you are so stupid! Gates of Hell closed forever? Sam doesn’t want to send the Demons away? Sam and Kevin talking Flashbacks! I don’t like that lady! Go Dean! Crowley? Again? "i was in purgatory. sam had a dog" BEST. DESCRIPTION. EVER. omfg.

all in all it was a REALLY good episode it made me excited for this season, and i do have hope for this season because i have faith in jeremy! it just FELT like old seasons again with the intro and just everything!

also, i think i like benny. oops. and i like amelia so far!

I LIKED IT!! Now that was old school SPN. That is the show we fell in love with!!

It's so old school that I can't even be mad at Sam for not looking for Dean. And I read spoilers so I was all ready to hate on him again.

BAD ASS DEAN IS SO DAMN SEXY!

I'm really liking Benny (another spoiler I was not to fond of btw). I really hope he doesn't end up being a bad guy, well like turning against Dean bad guy because clearly he already is a bad guy on a certian level. I'm also really liking the Benny/Dean dynamic, I can't wait to see more of what they were up to in Purgatory!

CAS!! Where the hell is my Cas! ...although I don't think it's as cut and dry as they are making it seem. I don't see Dean leaving Cas down there, and if Benny can hitch a ride out, I think Cas could hitch a ride as well. Maybe that is why Dean doesn't need sleep and wasn't eating for the longest time...and when he did eat, it was burgars, Dean and Cas both have a soft spot for burgers.

BABY IS BACK!! Dean knowing there as a dog in there...PRICELESS!

Doggy (Riot)..I met it when I was in Vancouver...great dog, very friendly, great actor!

Kevin, never really cared one way or the other, but after tonights episode, I'm starting to like him more and more, I like kick ass Kevin.

Amelia, not liking her...and I know that just sounds like I'm against all females on the show (and I'm not)...but she just rubbed me the wrong way with her 'oh there is my hero' DON'T PICK ON SAM! (and yeah I never thought I'd be saying that. ) I'll give her another try, but after this episode, she's not on my like list.

Okay thoughts:

I thought I would be mad at Sam but I am not really. I am looking at it from his perspective in that he truly was alone as he said. I truly believe by that point he was completely lost and honestly had no idea what to do with himself so he tried to get as far away from the job that took everything away from him as he could.

Dean is freaking me out honestly. It is going to take me some time getting use to this new version of him. He is like the Dean we saw in the episode "The End" in many ways.I want my warm Dean back but it is completely understandable given what happened to him. I do believe he was harsh with Sam. I understand why he is upset, Sam didn't look for him, but I think it has always been hard for Dean to see things from Sam's perspective. It will be so interesting to see how these brothers come back together on the same emotional and spiritual level because they clearly on different levels now. There is a lack of understanding and I am looking forward to the moment they find it again.

It is also interesting that they both seem to have suffered from PTSD. You see this with Sam and the reaction to hitting the dog. He was beside himself. To Sam by that point he thought he broke everything he touched. All he did was bring people pain and lost everyone because of it. This was all represented in his reaction to hitting the dog. Then he didn't want to take the dog because of the responsibility it brought. He was so broken he thought he couldn't handle it.

Then Dean's PTSD is pretty self explanatory. He sees kids playing with toy guns and he reacts. I just want to give both of them hugs.

I most of all want to see my brothers on the same page again. Their dynamic this episode was so weird, understandably, and it was hard for me to watch.

Kevin is awesome.

I am looking forward to seeing what happened with Cas.

And Benny is creepy as all get out.

Omg yay the boys are back! I loved the show had an old school feel too it! I feel like the boys sort of have the early season 1 vibe when Dean had brought Sam back into hunting again! Yes both boyI need hug a for easons already stated! I love the Wincest moments so cute!

Kevin was good tonight too! Omg standing on farm with cow priceless!

I like Dean and Benny so far and I wonder what happen to Cas too!

I can't wait to see the rest of s8!
