I'm going to say what I said in the episode discussion...

CAS!! Where the hell is my Cas!

...although I don't think it's as cut and dry as they are making it seem. I don't see Dean leaving Cas down there, and if Benny can hitch a ride out, I think Cas could hitch a ride as well. Maybe that is why Dean doesn't need sleep and wasn't eating for the longest time...and when he did eat, it was burgars, Dean and Cas both have a soft spot for burgers.

I have hope that Cas will be back.

My thoughts exactly Bee!! I need to see my Cas!! Haven't we waited long enough?? I didn't even see him in the preview for next week. I know what you mean! How can Benny get out but not Cas? What happened in Purgatory? It's making me very worried.

I'm thinking Dean stuck to his guns, because he pretty much told Benny, we get Cas or we don't leave. I really think Cas hitched a ride, but since he has no bones or anything he can't leave Dean.

Just a theory.

That is a very good theory Bee!! Benny knew that Dean mean't business. My question is: If Cas got out by hitching a ride in Dean's meatsuit, than why is Dean telling Sam that Cas is dead instead of telling him the truth? That's something that Sam may be able to help Dean with.

I feel like that's kinda a BS answer - a very typical exec answer really - it's not like Misha has any other role to do at the moment other than SPN, even last year all he did was Ringer -- unless they wanna make his availability be the whole being a new Dad again. It just feels like this is an excuse just in case we don't see much of Cas this season.

I have become very suspicious of these kinds of answers these days.

Yeah but in order to tell Sam about Cas, Dean would have to fess up about how he got out of Purgatory and brought a vamp with him. I don't think he's ready to spill all his beans yet, especially with Sam being able to walk away from him and hunting so easily. I think he's protecting himself, maybe waiting to see if he can depend on Sam or not. After all Sam didn't even bother looking for him.

Well we know we get Cas 4 out of 8 episodes so far. And as for Misha's availablity it could have a lot to do with being a new Daddy again. Kids change every day when they're that young. It's completely understandable if he wants to spend time with his family. Not only for the baby but West has to adjust to not being the only child anymore.

True! Which Sam probably won't like to much.

I think his availability is on being a new dad again! He probably wants to take some time off like Jared did. I don't blame him.

Supernatural is filming on a rooftop two blocks away from my building! Thankfully I brought my camera with my 200mm lens and am getting somewhat shoddy pictures of what’s going on. Jensen and Misha were just throwing what looks like tennis balls off the roof, no idea why.
