and how odd is it we mention that we want Jim to do a con, and then he does one. I wonder if we can always do things like that?

I was just about to comment on how weird it was us talking about jim and cons and a few days later.... here we are!

Eye con has such a great lineup!!!! Not that it makes a difference to me, I ain't going either

If Jensen was attending it would be super awesome!
But hey at least that is one reason I can feel better about not being able to go... right?

I'm so jealous of people that are getting the chance to go. If Jensen signs up I may curl up into a bawl and cry for a couple of hours because that would just be way to awsome. (well Jensen and JDM ) I wonder if JDM will ever have the time to do a SPN con? could you imagin the fangirls? ,,,but back to Jim, you can get your pic taken with him too! I want a pic of me and Bobby!

It's just really great he's going to one of these things.
He should totally do more.
Judging from a couple of interviews he's given, despite being able "to get a picture with Bobby" (which is awesome all on it's own), there is a good chance that he'll be an great guest overall.
He seems into the show and I do think that makes for a great panelist!

OMG! How awesome was this episode? BOBBY LOVE! \0/ I've been waiting for a Bobby episode and I loved finding out more about his past but really it was the scenes between him and Dean that made the episode for me, the scene where Dean told him he was like a father and then by his bedside and the thank you that Bobby gave Dean, it seemed like such a loaded Thank you, like not only thank you for saving me but thank you for loving me. ...and then the worried Dean by Bobby's bedside when he was still in the coma. I love the relationship these two have. I want more Dean/Bobby moments! they are just as awesome as the Dean/Sam moments.

I love the insight into Bobby's past, and we finally learn how he got into hunting, which is tragic But, I love the Dean/Bobby moments too

and how awesome that Jim is going to Eye Con, I'm so jealous! I so wish I could go to events like that, it'd be awesome to meet them.

It was very interesting and so sad to hear about Bobby's past.
Seems that he was pretty young when it happened. His wife seemed young at least.
Just so sad... *hugs Bobby*

But the Bobby-Dean scenes were what was really amazing!
And Jensen and Jim really nailed them.
A favourite little light moment was when Bobby said "Don't you yell at me boy!" I loved that... it was so cute!

Does this maybe warrant a Dean-Bobby thread? I think that after the episode they've kinda earned it. I thought they did after the S2 finale but here when the "you're like a father to me" words were uttered I think it pretty much seals the deal.
