I don't think I've seen Ty in anything aside from Supernatural. He's a Canadian actor though right? So I must have, I just can't place him. I'll have to look at his IMDB page.

Ty is Candaian and was in the newer Ballstar Galatic too.

I think both Cas and Benny are unique on their own.

He gains points for saving Cas.

All that bitching about Cas yet he saved him when he had to.

I don't think Benny is the new Cas though. He obviously means a lot to Dean, but I don't think he is gonna replace Cas.

I loved that he saved Cas!

I agree, Dean shouldn't have too choose. He's has a good friend in both of them, but I don't think Benny can or will replace Cas. What Dean and Cas have is just too strong.

Some of my friends have more than just me as a friend and in those situations I don't feel like I'm being replaced

The friendship that Dean has with Cas is different than the one he has with Benny. With Cas Dean is more intimate whereas with Benny he's more joking around.

I think both friendships are needed.
